B1A4′s Sandeul feels the heat while speaking English

B1A4′s Sandeul recently had a hard time speaking English.
In the August 17 episode of B1A4′s Hello Baby, the group visited an English academy because they wanted to teach the kids some English.
Sandeul suggested teaching the kids English by saying, “The kids have to learn English in order to become global men of ability.”
Sandeul, however, has become a member who needs to learn English the most by writing only the first letter ‘E’ and the last letter ‘T’ when he was asked to write the spelling of the word ‘Elephant.’
To help the members improve their English skills, Canadian baby Loren, who previously appeared on MBLAQ’s Hello Baby, visited the group as a special guest.
But since the group was only allowed to use English with Loren, the members shad a hard time carrying on conversations. Hyun Woo, one of the kids, was shy to see a new friend and made the members smile.
The show will air on Agusut 17 at 7:10 in the evening on KBS Joy.

Actor Kim Soo Hyun will keep his promise for the movie The Thieves having over ten million viewers.

FT Island once again enters Japanese Oricon Charts

FT Island’s eighth Japanese album, Top Secret is creating a stir.

On August 14, their agency, FNC Entertainment reveals, “As soon as Top Secret was released, it entered the daily Oricon charts. Among other singers, FT Island is the only foreign singer to enter top 10 by ranking on the sixth place.”

Not only that, the album ranked first place as the most sold album of the week according to Tower Records.

This album contains “Top Secret” “Beloved” and “Here.” The song beloved is a special song where the bassist and vocalist Lee Jae Jin took a part in writing the song.

Super Junior Siwon and Donghae arrive in Manila

“We going to Manila ^^ See u soon guys !! With Siwon.” was Donghae’s tweet, early morning of August 14. From the time Donghae tweeted about their departure, fans all over the Philippines began waiting for their arrival. Together with Siwon, they will be launching their product line for Bench, a world-renowned Filipino clothing brand.
At 12:32 PM of the same day, Siwon tweeted, ” I’m here, Philippines. Feel so good now!” Donghae followed suit by posting a photo of their promotional billboard, one of the many which lined the streets of EDSA.

Attached with this photo was one word – “Bench!!”
Thousands of fans are expected to attend the product launching. Prior to this, a promotional raffle was held, where 700 fans will be given the chance to see Siwon and Donghae up close and personal. Dubbed as ‘SiHae in Manila’, the event will be held on August 15 at the Trinoma Activity Center.

f(x)’s Sulli recently shot her first shower scene.
In the first episode of SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday series To The Beautiful You, which will air on August 15, Sulli will draw a lot of attention by taking a shower.
Sulli shot the shower scene on the set in the Gyeonggi Province on August 17. She covered her body with a towel and looked a little nervous as she appeared on the set.
It was probably hard for Sulli to expose herself in front of the female and male staff members for the first time. She had to shoot the scene and deal with the cold for about three hours because of the uncomfortable set conditions.

T-ara’s Soyeon back to the set of her drama series

It was recently reported that T-ara’s Soyeon is back to the set of her TV series.

Previously, on August 13, the singer’s Starex skidded in the rain, and flipped on its side as it crashed into the guardrail.

She was on her way to Busan to shoot the KBS drama series Haeundae Lovers, but her shooting schedule had to be canceled because of the accident.

Jo Yeo Jeong asks Kim Kang Woo, “I thought you fell in love with me?”

When Lee sees Go behaving in a strange way, he goes after her into a cold storage. Soon, Sora opens a Styrofoam box and admires at the sight of it.

On seeing this, Lee misunderstands Go as a drug dealer. However, it turns out that Sora has frozen some dried persimmon for her boyfriend.

What convinced Lee to be even more sure about Go’s false identity is some white powder around her mouth. It is only after he tastes the powder that he learns he has mistaken her.

When she learns what has happened, she becomes disappointed and says, “What? You came after me because you thought I was a drug dealer not because you fell in love with me at first sight?”

Ha Ji Won, Kang Ye Won, and Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In were recently cast in the movie Joseon Three Beautiful Girls (working title).

Jessica and Kystal are blood-related sisters, and it is first time for them to perform a duet with the song “Butterfly,” a song for the sound track of the series. “Butterfly” will be playing as a theme song for romantic scenes because it has lyrics that express one’s first love and sweet melody.

Another singer J-Min, who belongs in SM Entertainment as the two sisters, will be singing “Stand Up,” the theme song. There is an emphasis on strong guitar sound and drum beat in the music.

SBS TV’s new drama series Faith is about to beat MBC TV’s drama series Golden Time.
According to the report from AGB Nielsen Media Research issued on August 15, the second episode of Faith, which aired on August 14, recorded a viewing rate of 10.3%. It’s 0.9% higher than that of the first episode.
In the second episode, doctor Yoo Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun) gets kidnapped by an unidentified gang of thugs after having an operation for Princess Noh Guk. General Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) rescues her from the gang and tries to send her back to the modern world as he promised.
However, Choi Young fails to keep the promise. Feeling sorry for Yoo Eun Soo and getting disappointed at the king, he gets confused.
Feeling devastated and getting angry at Choi Young, Yoo Eun Soo stabs him with a sword, but he doesn’t avoid it. He rather helps her to stab himself deeper so that he can pay for failing to keep the promise.
MBC TV’s Golden Time recorded a viewing rate of 13.2%, and KBS 2TV’s Haeundae Lovers recorded 8.2%.

KARA specify a dress code for their fifth EP showcase

KARA are currently preparing a special showcase with a dress code.
