The song drew a lot of attention on MBC’s We Got Married when Lee was saying goodbye to T-ara’s Eunjung. Then the song was released on several online music sites and received considerable attention by ranking first on the real time chart.
A spokesperson for the agency, Made M Entertainment, said, “The song is ranking high on several music charts so we decided to sing the song live on TV.”

G-Dragon sweeps top rankings of major music chart with his song “That XX”

Big Bang’s G-Dragon topped rankings of online music charts with his latest single that is rated R, proving his musical potential.

His song “That XX” was released on September 1 and instantly ranked at the top of various music charts including Melon. It is rare to find an R-rated song on no.1 position of music charts with its release.

Also, it is first time for a song restricted from minors to sweep all the top rankings of charts since online music charts were created. Last year, Leessang’s “Turn Off the TV” ranked at the top, but if you consider that it was banned from audience under 19 after a thorough review, it is certainly the first time for a “voluntary” rate R song to place at the top ranking.

This phenomenon also supports the idea that fans of Big Bang and G-Dragon are not concentrated in the age group of teenagers. He must have a number of fans in their twenties and thirties.

Previously, YG Entertainment said that it will voluntarily tag the song rate R and request all online music service companies to do the same thing in consideration of the lyrics. For the music video, they chose a different method of promoting it by deleting controversial lyrics.

Seoul Drama Awards was held at the National Theater of Korea

On the day of the Seoul Drama Awards was held rained a lot. The awards ceremony was held at the KBS Hall last year but this year’s ceremony was held at the National Theater of Korea in Seoul. Popular tourist attraction N Seoul Tower is placed close by the theater.

Doesn’t it look familiar? Yes, it appeared on several TV series.

It was amazing to see popular actors and entertainers, who appeared on popular TV series, in person. As a staff member, I was honored to have chance to report on the behind the scene of the ceremony.

There were staff members around the stage to monitor the ceremony and help it run smoothly.

K-pop artists, including, MBLAQ, CNBlue, and 4minute, gave fantastic performances during the ceremony. Their breathtaking performances and passion were very impressive. Through their performances, I could tell that K-pop is amazing.
