On January 7, Sun Ye, of the Wonder Girls, went to a photographer’s studio in Gangnam, Seoul, to have her wedding photos taken. Her bandmates, Ye Eun, So Hee, Yu Bin, and Hye Lym, turned up to give her a hand during the photo session. In addition to her current bandmates, former member Sun Mi also showed up to support the bride-to-be, and everything went smoothly, in an excited atmosphere. The photo shoot was not open to the public.
Sun Ye, who is 23, is about to tie the knot with a Christian missionary named James Park, 28. The ceremony will be held at the Lotte Hotel in downtown Seoul. After the wedding, the Wonder Girls member will reportedly devote herself to her married life for a time being.

Kang Hyun-min wrongly thinks Sung Min-ah fancies him

In the episode of SBS’s Monday-Tuesday series The King Of Dramas that aired on January 7, Kang Hyun-min (played by Super Junior’s Choi Sowon) is on cloud nine for getting a bigger role in Morning In Kyungsung. This has happened because Sung Min-ah (played by Oh Ji-eun) has too busy a schedule as she works on both the drama and a movie at the same time. Kang is overjoyed: “Lee Go-eun, the writer, is finally starting to recognize how good I am.”
The actor, however, finds it hard to memorize the lines for his extended role. “Why not get a prompter?” the actress suggests, but he’s pig-headed about keeping his pride as a brilliant actor. As Kang keeps making mistakes, Sung writes his lines on a pillar on the set so that he can read them. Thank’s to this clever way of helping him, Kang is able to deal with the critical situation.
During a break in shooting, Kang approaches the actress, handing her a cup of coffee, and asks, “Why did you do that?”
“I wanted to help you,” she replies.
Kang goes on, “I know there are a lot of women who fancy me. If you really have feelings for me, I won’t turn you down. So you have a crush on me, right?”
“What led you to that big misunderstanding? That’s awful!” says Sung, and she storms off.
Seeing her leaving, Kang smiles and talks to himself, “Cute, lovely, and attractive. Like this coffee.” Returning to the green room, Sung talks to herself, “What a freak.”

Since the new restaurant is a popular franchise, offers cheaper prices, and even hires models to attract customers, no more customers came to Ja Ryong’s food cart.
After seeing Ja Ryong (Lee Jang Woo) getting distressed, Gong Joo (Oh Yeon Seo) says, “How can a man give up without trying? An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth!” Gong Joo transforms herself into a model with a huge ribbon headband and other accessories and does a cute performance of Orange Caramel’s song “A-Ing.” This attracts a crowd of people who gather at Ja Ryong’s stand.
However, Ja Ryong gets angry and says, “Are you crazy Ms. Gong Joo? I don’t want to sell this way.” Then he upsets her even further by saying, “Don’t you ever do something like this again. If you do, I’ll fire you!”
In the same episode, Yong Seok (played by Jin Tae Hyun) is still searching for his child and Mary (played by Yoo Ho Lyn).

Kim Jaejoong had made headlines with news of his solo debut as a singer following the footsteps of his fellow member, Kim Junsu. Pictures of actress Park Shin Hye wearing a school uniform were recently released.
On January 8, tvN Monday-Tuesday series Flower Boy Next Door released pictures of Park showing off her innocent appeals in a school uniform.
Her long straight hair made her look like an innocent and pure high school girl.

The pictures were captured from the January 8 episode of the series, in which Go Dok Mi (played by Park) looks back on the past when she decided to shut her mind against the world.
The series is a bright and bubbly romantic comedy based on a popular web cartoon called Peeking Him, which is about a girl secretly watching a boy living next door.

The Army puts singer Rain on probation for seven days

On January 8, the Ministry of National Defense placed celebrity soldier Rain, who created a stir by violating the decree on military service, on probation for seven days. According to the Ministry, Rain went to a studio in Cheongdam-dong to finish some postproduction editing on a new song three times: on November 23, December 2, and December 9. After the work was done, he met Kim Tae Hee in private and came back to the army base in her car, violating the decree on military servie.
