MBLAQ Joins In for ‘King of Dramas’ OST

J.Tune Entertainment’s boygroup MBLAQ has recently released a song for SBS tv series, ‘King of Dramas’. Titled ‘Because It’s Heaven’ (alternatively known as Winter Rain), it is a collaboration between MBLAQ’s lead vocalist G.O and rapper Mir.
Written by songwriter Oh Sung Hoon, who is known for hit songs like K.Will’s ‘Love 119′ and Noel’s ‘To Live’, this song relates the yearning for a loved one and begging for said person not to leave.
G.O’s smooth vocals melded with Mir’s strong rap produces a powerful soundtrack altogether. Accompanied by a piano melody and violin, the emotions are brought out effectively.
The other songs in the King of Dramas’ official soundtrack includes Lee Hyun’s ‘Keep In Your Heart’ and Super Junior Yesung’s ‘Blind For Love’.

F.CUZ gave an awesome performance at the Third Annual K-POP Nation!

Many K-POP enthusiasts attended the Third Annual K-POP Nation held at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall 2 yesterday. The attendees sure enjoyed spending the day fangirling, meeting new people, gaining new friends, meeting up with old friends and relaxing.There were many booths were fans can buy their idols’ merchandises at discounted price and with good quality too. Delicious K-POP food stalls were there as well, making one hungry just by inhaling the delicious smell coming from it.
There were many cover groups present at the event as well who joined the cover group contests and performed their best. Everyone were amazing and wowed the audience with their awesome performances.

Of course, the most awaited guest for this event is none other than the South Korean boy group, F.CUZ. The group officially started their album signing and meet and greet event. Many fans were excited to meet these five handsome boys and have looked forward to seeing them perform live! They did not disappoint. They performed three (3) of their songs and made the atmosphere hot with how awesome they are. Fans couldn’t stop screaming and cheering. It came to a point wherein you can only hear the screams as it drowned out the music. F.CUZ weren’t complaining though. In fact, they relish in it and got even hyper. They even performed PSY‘s phenomenal hit song, “Gangnam Style” further delighting their fans.

CN Blue show off a classy look in Singapore

CN Blue recently did a photo shoot in Singapore before releasing a new album in January next year.

Shinhwa sell over 30,000 copies of the DVD of their live concert

The DVD of Shinhwa’s live concert, Shinhwa 14th Anniversary Special DVD: The Return, is currently attracting a lot of attention.

Yoo Seung Ho is revealed to be the Joker on Missing You

Actor Yoo Seung Ho is currently receiving many favorable reviews for his acting in MBC TV’s drama series Missing You as a scary psychopath.

Hang Jung Woo tells Harry, “I’m not going to let Soo Yoen be with you anymore”

In the 15th episode of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday series Missing You, which aired on December 27, Hang Jung Woo (played by Park Yoo Chun) tells Harry (played by Yoo Seung Ho) that he’s not going to let Soo Yeon (played by Yoon Eun Hye) in.

At seeing Harry being hysterical, Jung Woo warns him that he can’t stand it anymore. Harry goes nuts, roaring, “Go away from Joy.”

Joy take Jung to task: “What on earth are you doing?” Jung Woo looks frustrated and puzzled as he is under a false accusation. Harry tries to make a good use of the situation, saying, “Joy, tell this guy to get ouf of my house.”

However, being sick and tired of their feud, Joy cries out: ”No, I want to be neither Lee Soo Yeon nor Joy,” and she storms off. Flustered by her unexpected response, Harry pleads with her not to leave him, but can’t stop her because of his disabled legs.

Watching all the troubled situations, Jung Woo says, “I was apologetic that I’m taking her away from you, but that’s not the truth. I’m not going to let her in. Don’t wait for her.” Then, he leaves, in search of Soo Yeon.

Girls’ Generation Drop ‘Dancing Queen,’ Set Date for Album Release

Girls’ Generation spent 2012 focused on the U.S. and Japan (including earning a Japan Hot 100 No. 1 single), but the ladies are wasting absolutely no time coming back to their home country in 2013.

Their new album, “I GOT A BOY,” will be released just as the new year starts on Jan. 1. The official promotion for their fourth album will begin in January, but to satiate fans in the meantime, the girls dropped a new single and music video “Dancing Queen.

“Dancing Queen” is a remake of Duffy’s Grammy-nominated single “Mercy” but with a Girls’ Generation twist. The track was actually recorded in 2008 (when Duffy’s was released) but only now was it released to fans. The track doesn’t feature the slick electronic pop productions the girls are known for today (like first international single “the Boys” or their most recent Japanese single “Flower Power”) but instead plays off funky pop sounds, similar to their sub-unit, Girls’ Generation TTS, and their debut track “Twinkle.”

“Mercy” took the world by storm just as Girls’ Generation’s popularity began taking off with their first mini-album “Gee,” which saw the group posing with white shirts and jeans on the cover. The video plays off this same nostalgia with the girls going “back in time” to 2008 wearing the same jeans and shirt combination (in addition to wigs that copy their former hairstyles).

2012 was the year PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (and the female version featuring HyunA) passed the girls as the most watched K-pop video of all time when their “Gee” video had always held that record (the video currently has almost 94 million views). Perhaps this is a way for Girls’ Generation to remind everyone what a force they are in K-pop and that they are ready to take their crown back in 2013.

At the end of “Dancing Queen” there is a quick clip where the girls go to 2013 with a clip of their (presumably) new single, featuring a loud, fast-paced electronic, dubstep-inspired beat with confident shouting and one tease of a sugary “I got a boy” hook.

“Dancing Queen” is a fun, nostalgic comeback track for the ninesome and should set them up nicely for an ultra-successful “I Got A Boy” comeback in less than two weeks.

Secret will perform on KBS Music Festival with B.A.P

Secret will perform on a music festival on December 28.
TS Entertainment, Secret’s agency, reported, “Secret will perform on KBS 2TV’s the 2012 KBS Music Festival on December 28. It’s the first time for Secret to perform on a show after the car accident.” It’s been 17 days since they got into a car accident on December 11.
Secret will also perform on the 2012 SBS Music Festival on December 29 and on the 2012 MBC Music Festival on December 31.
A spokesperson for Secret says, “Secret will perform on the music festivals in collaboration with B.A.P. B.A.P will replace the empty spot of Zinger, who can’t attend the festivals because of her injuries. Secret has wanted to perform at awards or music festivals with B.A.P, and their dream has finally come true.”
On December 11 around 2:00 a.m., Secret got into a car accident on their way back home as their car skidded on the ice.
Zinger wasn’t seriously injured as reported earlier, but she was diagnosed with injuries that would take four weeks to heal completely. Other members were just bruised.
