Boyfriend has been selected as the actors of a Japanese movie.
Previously on February 7, Japanese daily sports news, Sankei
newspaper covered their front page titled, “Korean pretty boy band
Boyfriend the fast rising star since their debut 6 months ago.” It read,
“All the members of Boyfriend have been cast as actors for
Go Go Pretty Boys 5 that will premiere this summer.”
The movie is from the popular romantic comedy novel
Go Go Pretty Boys 5 that has been read over 600,000 times on E★Every Star.
This piece of work is about a love story between one innocent girl
and five pretty boys who are known as the “school idols.” It is
encouraged by many Japanese girls.
Boyfriend said, “We are honored to appear in the movie. Please look forward to it and cheer us on.”
Also, Boyfriend will release their third single, Hitomino Melody on
March 27. This song has been chosen as the ending theme song of
Detective Conan. This is meaningful since this is the first time that a song from a foreign artist to be chosen as the theme of the animation.
Expectations are on the rise as Boyfriend received the Best 3 New Artist at
27th Japanese Gold Disk Ceremony.
