4Minute’s Hyun Ah will perform at the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
On November 26, Cube Entertainment, Hyun Ah’s agency, reported, “Hyun Ah will perform ‘Troublemaker’ with B2ST’s Hyun Seung at the 2012 MAMA, which will be held in Hong Kong on November 30.”
Hyun Ah and Hyun Seung attracted a lot of attention with their kissing performance at the 2011 MAMA.
Hyun Ah is currently receiving a lot of attention with her new song, “Ice Cream,” a track from her second EP, Melting. She also received a lot of attention with her appearance in the music video of Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”

Park Si Hoo to play a comical character on Cheongdamdong Alice

Actor Park Si Hoo will play a comical character in SBS TV’s new drama series Cheongdamdong Alice.
The series Cheongdamdong Alice, which will start airing on December 1, is about an ordinary girl named Se Kyung (played by Moon Geun Young) trying to become a wife of a rich man living in Cheongdamdong. This series will give a message about the real meanings of wealth and marriage to viewers.
Park plays the role of Seung Jo, a CEO of a world-famous distribution company, in the series. He says, “My character is really nice but comical at the same time. Because I can portray various emotions through this character, I’m very excited. I also get confidence whenever I read the script.”
Regarding working with Moon Geun Young, Park says, “Moon Geun Young is perfect for the character Se Kyung. Because she’s very considerate, I feel very comfortable working with her.”
Besides Park and Moon, the series stars Kim Ji Suk, So Yi Hyun, Shin So Yul, Choi Sung Jun, and Nam Goong Min.

On November 23rd, a letter that he hand wrote to his fans was uploaded onto the official Super Junior board.

In the letter, he wrote,

To. My lovely Fans! My everything is in the ELF’s two eyes…

I’m Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk!! Ah… I’m the 85th recruit, Park Jung Soo right now!! How are all of you? I’ve gone past Euijungboo and I’m now at the White Horse RTC (Recruit Training center) and having a good time with fellow soldiers that are 10, 11 years younger than me!

I’ve gone from being Super Junior’s leader to now being the leader in my squadron as a recruit. Even here, I’m feeling a lot of popularity. ^^

Before I came here, I was really nervous and scared, but now that I’m actually here I’ve realized that it’s really nothing compared to what I did before. ^^

Thank you so much for the hand written letters and the internet letters! I read every letter clearly here and sometimes I even tear up. Thank you.

I’m just always thankful. I had the most people come when I enlisted? You’re really the best!! I was supposed to take care of our 7th anniversary and the college entrance exams, so I’m sorry. As I work here, do you know that I miss you even more? I miss being on the World Tour with the other members and seeing the blue glowsticks and hearing all the cheers.

Ah! The DVD that we released in Japan was 1st! And ‘Boys in City‘ and there are a lot of other things that you can see me in, so please look forward to it!! Psy asks China to give him high paycheck? “It’s not true”

YG Entertainment recently said that singer Psy will not appear on Chinese CCTV’s show.
On November 26, the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong reported that Psy will appear on CCTV’s special program for the New Year.
The media outlet also said that Psy asked the production crew to give him 3 million yuan (520 million won) for a 30 minute performance. The news made some Chinese people disapprove of his appearance.
Some people even said the demand was preposterous and it would be better to use the money for the needy.
Psy’s agency, YG Entertainment, however, said that Psy does not have any plans to go to China at this time. They said, “Even though we have received forty to fifty offers from China, we haven’t made any plans to appear on any Chinese shows.”
The agency also said that the high paycheck rumors are groundless. “The production crew suggests a performance fee first and we arrange it together but we’ve never asked for an amount first. I don’t know why the news said that we asked for 500 million won,” they added.
Psy arrived in Korea on November 23 to take some time off. He will go to Thailand on November 27 to attend the King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 85th birthday event.
He will then go to Hong Kong on November 30 to attend the ’2012 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Award.’

We Got Married couples will go to Hawaii on their honeymoons

Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah, MBLAQ’s Lee Jun and Oh Yeon Seo, and ZE:A’s Hwang Kwang Hee and Secret’s Han Seon Hwa will go to Hawaii to shoot MBC’s We Got Married 4.
On November 26, a show official said, “The three imaginary married couples will go to Hawaii together to shoot the show. They will get on a airplane on November 30.”
“They will stay there for three nights and four days. It will be their honeymoon trip.”
Another show official said, “It was hard for previous couples to shoot the show all together but these couples meet each other whenever they shoot the show. They will also enjoy their honeymoons together.”
The three couples live in We Got Married Village, which didn’t exist in the previous seasons.
Julien Kang and Yoon Se Ah couple proves that love has no boundaries and Lee Jun and Oh Yeon Seo couple makes people laugh by showing off their obsessiveness. Hwang Kwang Hee and Han Seon Hwa couple is also receiving a lot of attention as a comedic couple.

Two Special Guests for the 4th Philippine KPOP Convention revealed!

The 4th Philippine KPOP Convention is definitely an event you shouldn’t miss! This event certainly has made KPOP fans happy with the announcement of two (2) special guests. The boy group, F.Cuz and the rookie group A.Cian will be gracing the event. Both groups will be performing live at the event and they will also be promoting their albums. There will also be an album signing that fans will definitely look forward to!
F.Cuz is a South Korean boy group that originally consist of four (4) members. The group debuted with the song, “Jiggy”. After one member left the group, two new members were added. The group is now composed of five (5) members namely, Jinon, Daegun, Kan, Yejun and Raehyun.
A.Cian is rookie boygroup under ISS Entertainment. The group debuted with the song, “Stuck” and is now preparing for their comeback with a repackaged mini-album, “HIT”. The group is composed of five (5) members namely Seul Gi, Crooge, Chan Hee, Se Hee and Sang Hyun.

Sun Ye’s groom-to-be is a man who is already well-known to the public as Sun Ye’s boyfriend. Since they met for the first time in Haiti during their volunteer work, they have dated for nearly two years.

On November 27, JYP Entertainment, Sun Ye’s agency, reported, “Sun Ye, who has led the Wonder Girls for six years since 2007, recently told the members and us that she would like to get married soon. The agency also said, “Sun Ye will focus on her wedding and family for a while.”

Actress Moon Geun Young recently showed off her language skills.
Moon plays the role of a rookie designer named Han Se Kyung on SBS’s new weekend series Cheongdamdong Alice.
She shot the scene,where she has a job interview with a clothing company and has to speak French. Ida Daussy, who is from France, appeared on the series as an interviewer.
Ida Daussy asked Moon, “Can you tell me about principles you apply to your life in French?” Moon answered, “L’effort est ma force. C’est cela mon credo,” which means, “The effort is my strength. That is my creed.” Then she continued in French, “My father always said that life is like a recipe book. I watched every French movie to be certified in French.”
When Moon finished shooting the scene without making any mistakes, Ida Daussy said, “Moon learned how to pronounce French in a short time. She is very good at speaking French just like her character in the series.”
The series is about an ordinary girl trying to become a rich wife. Besides Moon, Park Si Hoo, So Yi Hyun, and Kim Ji Seok will appear on the series, which will start airing on December 1.

Actress Son Ye Jin recently earned the title “Queen of single suit” as she survives the shooting for the blockbuster of apocalypse, Tower (directed by Kim Ji Hoon, produced by The Tower Pictures), on a single suit.
The film Tower has given such title to the actress. It is about a story in which people faced with a big fire on the sky-high building of 108 floors. Son plays the character Seo Yoon Hee, the food mall manager of Tower Sky. At a sudden breakout of fire, she remains calm and tries to encourage people to survive through the situation.
From the beginning to the end of the movie, Son appears in one outfit. According to a representative of the production crew, she managed to shoot the whole movie on a single suit. Because the setting for the film is a fire that breaks out on the single day of Christmas Eve, Son has to appear in the uniform of a food mall manager throughout the movie.
At the beginning of the film, Son appears in a neat, tidy outfit living up to her title as a food mall manager with the best service mindset for customers. But as time goes by, the disaster attacks the building and as she fights off, her snow-white outfit loses its color white. Her uniform gets dirtier as the situation gets worse. Belying her pure, innocent image so far, the actress leads people out of the frustration of the situation with her heartwarming charisma.
It is also said that all staff and peer actors on the set had to give a big round of applause for her courageous attempt to play such a role and for surviving the whole shooting on a single outfit. Tower is to open in December.

Kim Ah Joong considered debuting as a singer with the name “A. June”

Recently, Kim Ah Joong attracted public attention as she revealed the name she gave herself to become a singer before she debuted as an actress.
In the episode of YTN’s News and Issue-Issue and People that aired on November 26, the actress confessed, “In prior to debut as an actress, I was a would-be singer.”
She added, “Before I debuted as an actress, I prepared for it with the stage name ‘A. June.’ People from other countries found it hard to pronounce Ah Joong, so I switched Joong with June and made myself a nickname A. June.
“It was my mom who gave me the name Kim Ah Joong. It means ‘the center of Asia’; the part Ah came from the word Asia and Joong means ‘center’ in Chinese character.”

The special 100th episode of KBS’s Hello, which will air on November 26, will introduce more interesting stories than ever.
One of them is from a wife worrying about her husband enjoying fermented skate. Some people love fermented skate but some people dislike the food.
