Miss A member Suzy Meets Fans at “Bean Pole Outdoor” Event and Surprise Birthday Party

On October 9, at the Lotte Department Store in Seoul, miss A member Suzy participated in a “Bean Pole Outdoor” fan signing event that was sponsored by clothing brand Bean Pole. The “nation’s first love,” actress, and miss A idol Suzy was selected as a model for Bean Pole.
The fan signing event also doubled as a surprise birthday party for Suzy. Suzy turned 18 years old (19 in Korean age) on October 10. Yesterday, Suzy posted pictures of the birthday presents she received from her fans and gave words of thanks to her fans on her Twitter account.
Suzy looked like she was enjoying herself as she met her fans and gave them handshakes as well as giving autographs and taking pictures. A birthday cake was even brought out for Suzy to make a wish and blow out the candles.

miss A‘s Suzy and child actress Kim Yoo Jung have both talked about their ideal types.
Both stars were guests on “Strong Heart” on October 9. Kim Yoo Jung was first asked about her ideal type. She said, “I don’t want him to be too studious,” making all the uncle fans in the studio cheer.
Kim Yoo Jung continued, “I want him to be at least taller than me,” and “I like guys who can play instruments and can sing well. I like funny guys too.” Then all the male celebrities started to pretend to play an instrument, making everyone laugh.
miss A’s Suzy also talked about her ideal type. She began to list all the male celebrities that were her ideal type in the past. She listed Kang Dong Won, Lee Min Ki, Yang Yo Seob, Kim Soo Hyun and Ian Somerhalder.
When asked who her current ideal type is, Suzy had to think about it for a while. Then MC Lee Dong Wook said, “You need to be very serious about this.” Then Suzy answered, “At this moment, Lee Dong Wook is my ideal type.” Then Lee Dong wook replied, “I can see that you’re very serious. You’re very honest,” as a joke, which made everyone laugh even more.
Meanwhile, other guests such as Byul shared the hidden stories behind her and Haha‘s relationship.

UN Chief Proud of “Gangnam Style” for Promoting World Peace

On October 10, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon gave his stamp of approval to PSY and “Gangnam Style,” which has been viewed more than 400 million times over the last 3 months.
In an interview with AFP Tuesday, the 68-year old UN Chief, who also comes from South Korea, showed his pride in “Gangnam Style,” saying, “I have seen it several times. I’m very proud that his performance has been loved and enjoyed by more than 400 million people. It’s amazing.”
He went on to stress the power of music and how it could affect culture and civilizations, saying, “There are no languages required in the musical world. That is the power of music, that is the power of the heart. Through this promotion of arts we can better understand the culture and civilizations of other people. In this era of instability and intolerance we need to promote better understanding through the power of music.”

Kim Jang Hoon on Psy: “We Didn’t Reconcile Yet But I Should’ve Been More Mature”

Singer Kim Jang Hoon opened up about the rumors of discord between himself and Psy for the first time. He admitted that he wasn’t being a grown-up about it and that he’s waiting for Psy to visit him again in the hospital.
Kim Jang Hoon, who was depressed to the point of suicide because of his broken trust with Psy, has recently spoken up.
On October 5, sources from Psy told the press that after Psy visited Kim Jang Hoon in the hospital, they have reconciled and everything was fine. But Kim Jang Hoon seems to think otherwise.
“He just gave his excuses. The word ‘reconcilation’ can’t even be brought up yet,” he said.

However, Kim Jang Hoon admitted that he wasn’t being mature and said that he was waiting for Psy to visit him again in the hospital.
“The blame will always fall on the older person. The situation made me so angry but it’s my fault for making things so big like this. I know Psy’s situation is so good for our country right now so it’s unfortunate that my emotions got the best of me at this timing,” he said.
Netizens and fans are hoping that the two singers will quickly reconcile so that they could stand up on stage together once again.
Kim Jang Hoon added, “Since Psy is younger than me, I think I should have a bigger heart. I really want to live in harmony with others.”
