On April 7,
T-ara (Bo Ram, Ji Yeon, Hyo Min, Eun Jung, Cu Ri, So
Yeon, and A-Reom), already in the fourth year since their debut, formed a
subunit and released an official poster for it. The subunit (composed
of
Eun Jung, Hyo Min, Ji Yeon, and
A Reom) will release a new song,
“Countryside Diary,” on May 1. T-ara has gained popularity with the
songs “
Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “
Roly Poly,” and “
Lovey Dovey.”
In the poster, released by their agency, Core Entertainment, on April
10, Ji Yeon is wearing strong make-up and a costume with fancy
accessories, giving a somewhat different image from what the group had
been shown previously. This arouses curiosity about how they will come
off with their fans.
Seeing the date “Friday, April 12” in the poster, people are
anticipating that the subunit is planning something special for that
day. People are guessing they will release the name of the subunit and a
jacket image on that date. It is said the new song “Countryside Diary”
is strong, funky dance music mixed with hip-hop, written by Double
Sidekick.
