The ballad singer Sung Si Kyung and 2NE1’s CL, and the dancing queen
Kim Wan Sun and Kara’s Goo Hara are expected to give some special joint
performances soon. SBS’s
Gayo Daejun is to be held at the
Hwajung Gymnasium of Korea University on December 29 at 8:45 p.m. Singer
IU, Miss A’s Suzy, and actor Jung Gyu Woon will host the show, and many
“idol” group members and some other singers are expected to give
special joint performances to various kinds of music in line with the
theme “The Color of K-pop.” In addition to the two collaborations
mentioned above, there will also be more spectacular joint performances
by other K-pop stars that created a stir in the Korean music industry in
2012.
Park Seung Min, the producer of
Gayo Daejun told
Starnews
on December 26, “All K-pop stars from around the nation will come
together in this upcoming event to make the best 270 minutes ever,
including both individual performances as well as special collaborative
performances by some senior singers and ‘idol’ group members. Each team
is working hard to come up with a number that shows off the members’
character and talents the best. For example, Goo Hara, who was born in
1991, is preparing a performance with Kim Wan Sun, who debuted in the
same year. Sung Si Kyung, with his attractive voice, and CL are another
example. Because
Gayo Daejun is of such a vast scale with so
many singers participating in it, you can count on seeing some fantastic
performances.”</p
