Teen Top’s Niel says, “Please stop the crank calls”


 Niel, a member of the boy group Teen Top, spoke candidly of his difficulties caused by crank calls. On May 8, he tweeted, “Hello, everyone. I’ve experienced something embarrassing recently. I understand how much you love me and I really appreciate that, but I want you to stop calling me directly, especially late at night.”
He continued his plea for fans to refrain from calling, saying, “To those who make such crank calls, please stop doing that. I’ve been so embarrassed that I don’t know how to say. I know you’re my fans who love me, so I’m asking you not to do that again, please!
He also added, “I didn’t know how to express myself yesterday. I’m sorry to most of my fans, who haven’t made crank calls. I tweeted because I was so upset. Please stop calling! I deeply appreciate your affection toward me, but I ask you once again.”
Netizens who heard the news showed their support, saying: “Change your phone number.” “You don’t need to be polite to those people. Just do not answer calls from numbers you do not know.”
Recently, Niel has drawn public attention when it was revealed that he got a proposal from a girl from JYP Entertainment.

The production company of the drama series Heirs considers casting F(x)’s Krystal


The producers of the new drama series Those Who Wish to Wear the Crown, Be Sure You Can Bear Its Weight – Heirs have checked Krystal’s work schedule for the last half of the year. An official of the production company, Hwa and Dam Pictures, reported to Starnews on May 9 that she is on the list of those being considered for the cast. He added that no choices had been confirmed yet, except Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye.
If Krystal is chosen to appear in the series, it will be her first such role in two years after her last sitcom High Kick – Counterattack of a Short Leg, which oired on MBC in 2011. Her return on TV drama is highly anticipated because she did a good job in the sitcom as a cheerful, vivacious high school girl.
Heirs is a trendy drama series aimed at a young audience. It deals with love and friendship among wealthy high schoolers. The script will be written by the well-known writer Kim Eun Sook, who has written a number of popular series, including Lovers in Paris, Secret Garden, and Gentleman’s Dignity. Kang Shin Hyo, who produced The High Rollers and Midas, will be producing this new series. The highly anticipated series is scheduled to begin broadcasting this October.

YG Entertainment Teases with High Fashion CL


YG Entertainment has been on a roll, teasing fans and keeping them in utter suspense regarding the upcoming comeback. Who you may ask? We are clueless too!
Having hinted of an upcoming comeback for one of YG’s artiste, fans have been making speculations of all sorts – from the hottest groups 2NE1 and Big Bang, to an artiste’s solo venture or even the debut of Kang Seung Yoon or YG’s next new girl group.
On May 7, another comeback teaser was released. This time featuring 2NE1′s leader CL. A website 2ne1loves has been set up, showcasing a 15-seconds video of CL in high fashion. It could be a hint to a possible 2NE1 comeback, one that has been promised since March/April. Or even, CL’s solo album, since she has been working on it!
As of now, there is no official confirmation. We’ll find out the mystery comeback on May 28, stay tuned!

Hyun Bin’s career philosophy: “I’m always concerned about my acting. Popularity is not important.”


People are enthusiastic about something Hyun Bin recently said about his thoughts on his career. He joined the army when he was at the peak of his popularity and had his first interview after being discharged on the episode of KBS2′s Entertainment Relay that aired on May 4,after a fan meeting in Shanghai, China.
About the timing of his joining the army, Hyun Bin says, “I planned to join the army then. The drama series Secret Garden was working out well for me, and though I hadn’t intended to reveal it, during the filming of the series, it became known that I had had a physical and an oral exam.”
Asked about whether he was worried about losing popularity because of the break, Hyun Bin says, “I have been concerned about my acting and about fear that I might disappoint people who trust me as an actor. I haven’t thought much about popularity.” This thoughful revelation has had an effect on viewers.
On the interview, Hyun Bin’s appearance drew attention. He looked as good as ever. After the interview aired, people reacted variously: “Hyun Bin is not only handsome but also thoughtful.” “He is a perfect guy.” “Hyun Bin is the best.” “He has become more manly since the army.”

2PM sweeps iTunes charts in six countries


According to an announcement made by their agency, JYP Entertainmnet, on May 7, 2PM (Jun K, Nickhun, Taekyeon, Woo Young, Joon Ho, and Chan Sung) have made a sensational return after a two-year hiatus. An agency official said that right after the third studio album was released, it ranked at the top on real time iTunes charts in six Asian countries: Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, and Taiwan.
He added, “The new album is receiving explosive responses, ranking high on various album charts with several songs, including lead track “Listen to This Song and Come Back.” They proved themselves to be the hottest singers by sweeping iTunes charts in major Asian countries. The lead song has lyrical emotion, telling the story of a man who regrets breaking up with his girlfriend. Another song from the album will be released soon.”
The group’s new album will go on sale on the 13th of May, and the group perform on a special titled “2PM Returns” on MBC on May 11.

Psy appears on American talk show to air on ABC


On May 6 at 10:00 world star Psy (Park Jae Sang) tweeted a picture taken during his appearance on the American popular talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael. In the picture, Psy is seen doing the dances from his “Gentleman” video with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. They got a lot of laughs as Psy taught them how to do the “arrogant dance” and the “crab dance” from “Gentleman.”
Psy is promoting his new song in the U.S. He will give a special speech at Tsai Auditorium, Harvard University, on May 9. On the 7th of June, Psy is scheduled to visit Russia and perform “Gentleman” at the MUZ-TV Music Awards at Moscow Olympic Stadium.
