4minute’s Hyun Ah is receiving considerable attention in the world.
Her new title song “Ice Cream” was introduced on The Guardian in UK and other popular foreign media outlets as well.
On October 24 (local time), The Guardian said, “In fact, if anyone could follow Psy’s success it would be 4Minute’s very own Hyun Ah, who not only produced one of 2011′s greatest songs with “Bubble Pop” but also has a cameo in “Gangnam Style,” a video that’s now been watched 532 million times.”
Popjustice, a music website in UK, also introduced the music video for Hyun Ah’s “Ice Cream.” The website previously posted a music video for Hyun Ah’s “Bubble Pop” and said it is drawing a lot of attention.
When Hyun Ah announced that she will return with her new solo EP, Russian MTV focused on her and introduced her as the sexiest star in Korea. After Hyun Ah released her EP, media outlets in the United States and Europe are giving her a lot of attention.
The US Billboard posted the music video for “Ice Cream” and said it is the must-see music video of the week. US online media outlet Examiner said, “HyunA is a viral video star in her own right before appearing in “Gangnam Style,” with “Bubble Pop,” her first solo single that she released last year.”
In addition, media outlets in Peru, Poland, and South America are paying considerable attention to Hyun Ah and her new solo EP.
The music video for the song “Ice Cream” received over 8.6 million hits only in three days of its release.
