Lee Seung Gi tops the charts, beating Lee Hi

Lee Seung Gi recently topped the charts, beating Lee Hi.
On November 22 at noon, both Lee Seung Gi’s new EP, Forest, and Lee Hi’s new song, “Scarecrow,” were released. Many music fans expected keen competition between the two singers because Lee Seung Gi released his first material in a year and Lee Hi has been topping the charts with her debut song, “1, 2, 3, 4.”
As a result, Lee beat the young singer Lee Hi. “Turning Back,” the lead track of his new EP, topped such major charts as Melon, Olleh Music, Bugs Music, Cyworld, and Mnet as of 5:00 p.m. on November 22. Lee Hi’s “Scarecrow” ranked first on Daum, Naver, and Soribada.
Lee Seung Gi has attracted a lot of attention by creating healing music in collaboration with Epitone Project. Lee Hi also attracted a lot of attention by choosing a song composed by Park Jin Young.
The competition between Lee Seung Gi and Lee Hi is expected to continue for a while.
