Lee has met his Japanese fans at the Nagoya Century Hall on December 4, at the Osaka International Convention Center on 5, and at the Yokohama Pacifico on 10.
Those were special meetings for Lee’s Japanese fans, held under the title of “JG Time with You…in Japan” in celebration of Christmas. Despite the cold weather, over 10,000 people came to the meetings to see Lee from all over the country.
It’s been nearly nine months since he saw his Japanese fans for the last time. He appeared on the stage with a nervous look on his face and said hello to the fans in Japanese. The fans welcomed him with a shout of joy.
With hair that has grown a bit longer and a gentle smile, Lee showed off a mischievous yet manly look throughout the meetings.
At the fan meetings, Lee talked about some behind-the-scenes stories about the drama series Arang and the Magistrate and his life as a singer and an actor.
When Lee performed his new song, which he has practiced for ten hours a day, the fans enthusiastically responded to it.
Lee said, “Thank you so much for coming to see me and welcoming me despite the cold weather, and I always thank you for loving me and cheering me. I will be more active in overseas countries from now on, and I want to see you again with a new project.”
Lee came back to Korea on December 11. He will take a break for a while before he starts a new project.
