The New York Times regarded 2NE1′s and BIGBANG’s concerts as two of the Best Concerts of 2012

On 26th December “The New York Times” , one of the most important American daily newspapers founded in New York, wrote about 2NE1 and BIGBANG in their official website.
The title of the article is “Pop’s Big Nights – The Best Concerts of 2012, as Seen by Times Critics” and the two groups appeared together with the most important International artists such as Jay-Z, Nicki Minaj and The Rolling Stones.



The critics, in fact, said that 2NE1′s August 17th concert and BIGBANG’s November 8th concert are two of the Best Concerts of 2012. They were able to gather thousands of fans during their tours even if they haven’t had any American hits and are famous above all only between Kpop fans. In the article, the critics specified that 2012 was the year Kpop arrived in the USA but not as a “Gangnam Style” ‘s reference, the artists thanks to their hard work and energetic beat had conquered the hearts of many American fans.
This is no surprise since we are talking about two of the most important groups in the Kpop music scene!
