On January 10, Dongwoo and Hoya, members of Infinite H, held a showcase at the UNIQLO AX hall. In a press interview held before the showcase, reporters asked the Infinite H members, “You both have talent in writing songs, yet you didn’t write any of your debut material yourselves. Why is that? Why did you just use material by other professional musicians?”
At this, Dongwoo said, “We’ve written lyrics to some of our songs to present at special concerts or year-end concerts, but this album is different. We might be able to write lyrics to some songs for out next release.”
Regarding the reason that they used other professional musicians rather than writing the music themselves, Hoya said, “This is the first material we’re presenting to the publis, so we care a lot about how it turns out. We’ve actually prepared for this for a long time, writing some songs, but we thought it would be better to be sure the music we provide is the very best it can be. We’re trying not to take on too much for our first time.”
Infinite H’s first EP, Fly High, which will be released on January 11, contains a total of five songs, “Special Girl,” “Victorious Way,” “When You Are Not Here,” “I Can’t,” and “Fly High.” The EP was produced by Primary, and such popular hip-hop artists as Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, R&B singer Zion. T, and Baby Soul were featured on it.
