Narsha of the Brown Eyed Girls and Yoo In Young become smartphone film directors

Narsha of the Brown Eyed Girls, actress Yoo In Young, and actress Fujitani Ayako will debut as smartphone film directors.
On January 23, the Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival reported that Narsha, Yoo, and Ayako will direct films with smartphones in the third Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival Mentor School.
The Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival Mentor School is a program that gives opportunities to some celebrities to work with professional film directors on making films with smartphones under the mentor-and-mentee system. Ryu Duk Hwan, Go Soo Hee, and Lee Sun Ho debuted as smartphone film directors last year.
Narsha, Yoo, and Ayako are the second members of the school.
Narsha, who had an experience in making a smartphone film on SBS TV’s Heroes in 2011, got interested in making a film with a smartphone and entered the school to become a smartphone film director. She will learn how to make a film with a smartphone from director Lee Ho Jae, who directed the film The Scam.
Yoo has been invited by director Lee Moo Young, who worked with her in the film Like Father, Like Son. Yoo was already recognized as a director through her short film Can You Remember the Good Times Only. Yoo will learn film directing from director Lee.
The celebrity who will participate in the first global project of the mentor school is Ayako. Ayako will become a mentee of Jung Jung Hoon, a director of photography, who has also been a judge of the festival for the last three years. They’ll work on a smartphone film in the U.S.
On January 29, they will attend a press interview for the third Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival, which will be held at the Gwanghwamun Olleh Square, and talk about the films they’ll direct.
The third Olleh International Smartphone Film Festival will be held from April 17 to 20.
