The group BtoB (Seo Eun Gwang, Lee Min Hyuk, Lee Chang Seob, Lim Hyun Sik, Peniel, Jung Il Hoon, and Yook Sung Jae) recently held a successful first fan meeting in Taiwan. On April 9, BtoB’s agency, Cube Entertainment, said: “On April 6, BtoB held a two-hour fan meeting, titled BtoB Press Play In Taiwan, with about 1,000 fans at an international convention center in Taiwan. As soon as BtoB arrived at the airport, fans crowded around, paralyzing the airport in a short time and showing just how popular BtoB is in Taiwan.”
BtoB started the fan meeting with their popular hit “Wow” and continued with ballads and dance numbers that won praise from the fans, who sang along, which touched the BtoB members.
BtoB showed showed that they have the right stuff to lead the next generation of K-pop artists as they performed Taiwanese singer Jay Chou’s “Caihong,” which they had prepared as a special treat for the Taiwanese fans. Though it was the group’s first visit to Taiwan, BtoB was in the media spotlight, giving interviews to influential daily newspapers, broadcasters, magazines, etc.
BtoB is coming out with a new single, “Second Confession,” to be released through online music sites in Korea, on April 10.
