KARA will release Solo Collection on November 28 and 30


Girl group KARA will release their solo that they wrote the lyrics by themselves in Korea for the first time.
On November 27, KARA’s agency, DSP Media, said that the group will release Solo Collection, which includes each member’s solo, and music videos on November 28 and 30.
Nicole and Goo Hara will release their solos on November 28 and Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon, and Kang Jiyoung will release their solos on November 30. The ordinary version and limited version of EP will be released on December 4.
Composers Han Jae Ho and Kim Seung Soo, who have been working with the group, and Lee Joo Hyung and G-High, who composed several hit songs, produced the EP.
The solos were pre-released at the group’s first exclusive concert KARASIA, which was held in February in Korea. The EP was also pre-released in Japan and ranked fourth on the Oricon chart.
A spokesperson for the group says, “All group members wrote the lyrics for the songs for the first time and tried to put their own feelings into their solo music. They also actively participated in making their music videos and made the ‘self made’ EP.”

Park Shin Hye and Yoon Si Yoon at the read-through for The Flower Boy Next Door

Some snapshots of members of the cast for tvN’s new drama series The Flower Boy Next Door at the read-through were recently released.
On November 21, the cast members played their roles at the first read-through as if they were really shooting the series. Yoon Si Yoon, who appears in a drama series for the first time after he finished the series Me Too, Flower, and Kim Ji Hoon, who was recently discharged from the army, also attended the read-through.
Park Shin Hye also showed off a goddess look without wearing makeup. As such handsome actors and pretty actresses as Yoon, Kim, Go Kyung Pyo, Park, and Kim Yoon Hye attended the read-through, the meeting room almost seemed like a studio for a photo shoot for a fashion magazine.
The Flower Boy Next Door is a romantic comedy drama series, based on the popular Internet cartoon series I Peek at Him Everyday. An isolated girl named Go Dok Mi (played by Park Shin Hye) falls in love with Enrique Keum (played by Yoon Si Yoon) after she gets caught by him peeking at a man next door.
The Flower Boy Next Door is a series that succeeds such drama series as Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Shut Up: Flower Boy Band, which aired last year. Yoon, Park, and Kim will play the roles of men and a woman in a love triangle.
Producer Jo Moon Joo of CJ E&M says, “Because the director, writer, and members of the cast have studied the characters in the series for a long time, they showed off great teamwork at the first read-through. I believe this series can succeed because the cast members are showing great affection for their characters and also showing off good teamwork.”
The series will start airing on January 7 next year and air every Monday and Tuesday at 11:00 p.m.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk is consoled by Shin Dong Yeob

Host Shin Dong Yeob of KBS 2TV’s Hello recently consoled Super Junior’s Eunhyuk for having a hard time after a picture of himself and IU was released by mistake.
On the 100th episode of the show, which aired on November 26, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, Shindong, and Sungmin appeared as guests and listened to people’s worries.
Before listening to people’s worries, Shin asked the guests about their worries. Sungmin said, “I don’t know what to do when I appear on variety shows,” and Shindong said, “I’m worried that I quickly gain weight after I finish being on a diet.”
Eunhyuk’s turn came, but Shin didn’t ask him to talk about his worries.
Other hosts asked Shin, “Why aren’t you asking Eunhyuk?” but Shin just patted Eunhyuk on the shoulder with a meaningful look on his face. He seems to have been considerate of Eunhyuk, who recently had a hard time after a picture of himself with IU was mistakenly released, but Shin’s action got laughs as it attracted even more attention to Eunhyuk.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk says in tears, “I’ll take care of myself well”


Super Junior’s Leeteuk recently dropped tears.
On the episode of MBC Music’s All the K-pop that will air on October 26, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Shindong will make a guest appearance and talk about Leeteuk, who will join the army on October 30.
In the shooting of the episode, Boom asked Leeteuk to give his thoughts on joining the army. Leeteuk said, “I’ll take care of myself well and come back as a real man,” and dropped tears, being sad about saying goodbye to people.
However, he soon made the audience laugh. On the show, two members of a new girl group also appeared as guests. According to reports, Boom asked the production team to cast them as guests.
When the members appeared in the studio, Leeteuk got surprised and became shy.
Leeteuk said one of the members is Boom’s ideal type and Boom once said, “I want to take care of the group along with A-Pink.”
Leeteuk and Boom found out that they were fascinated by the same girl group.
Boom got embarrassed by Leeteuk, and they struke sparks off each other throughout the shooting. The episode will air on October 26 at 11:00 p.m.

Jung Il Woo to hold his first fan meeting in Taiwan



Actor Jung Il Woo will hold his first fan meeting in Taiwan on December 8.
The title for the Taiwanese fan meeting is ‘The promise of the first snow 2012.’ Jung expressed his affection towards the fan meeting by creating the title all by himself.
Jung says, “I heard that there is no snow in Taiwan. I think the ‘first snow’ will make the Taiwanese fans excited.”
Jung few to Taiwan on October 23 to promote his fan meeting and stayed their for two nights and three days.
Jung gave an interview to major media outlet, appeared on several TV shows, and took pictorials while staying in Taiwan.
A local official says, “Local officials were surprised to see so many people gathered for Jung wherever he goes. He is pretty popular in Taiwan.”

Little Psy Hwang Min Woo and Psy look a like


A picture of Psy when he was a little child was recently released. Little Psy Hwang Min Woo and Psy in the picture looked a like.
On the episode of MBC TV’s Good Day that aired on October 24, Little Psy Hwang Min Woo, who has become popular since he appeared in the music video of Psy’s “Gangnam Style,” and his parents made a guest appearance.

A Pink’s Eunji is cast in a melodrama series, Wind Blows in Winter


 A-Pink’s Eunji will appear in a new drama series, Wind Blows in Winter, written by Noh Hee Kyung.
Having received favorable reviews for her acting through the drama series Answer to 1997, Eunji plays the role of Moon Hee Sun, a younger sister of Moon Hee Joo, the first love of Oh Soo (played by Jo In Sung). Moon Hee Sun is a tomboy who likes flowers. She tries to hate Oh Soo, who leaves her sister, but she can’t.
A spokesperson for the series says, “Eunji has recently decided to appear in the series Wind Blows in Winter. We’re sure she will be able to give a boost to the series as she did to Answer to 1997.”
Eunji says, “I’m so honored to appear in a drama series written by the best writer in Korea and work with great actors and director. Thanks to you all for loving Answer to 1997, I’ll also try my best in the new drama series. Please give me your interest and love.”
Wind Blows in Winter is a story about a gambler who lives a meaningless life after getting abandoned by his parents and failing his first love. In order to pay his debt, he starts to live with a rich girl. However, he falls in love with the girl, who is also as lonely as him. It will soon start shooting.

A preview of The King of Dramas is released


A preview of SBS TV’s new drama series The King of Dramas is attracting a lot of attention with the distinctive three characters of the series.
The preview aired right after the previous episode of SBS TV’s drama series Faith ended. KBS unsure about shutting Invincible Youth 2 down



KBS recently said that they are not sure about shutting their variety program Invincible Youth 2 down.
On October 22, a spokesperson for KBS said, “We talked with the production crew for the series and they said they haven’t decided anything yet about retiring the program. They said they were surprised to see the un-confirmed reports.”
A media outlet previously reported that the program will end on November 17 because of its low audience rating.
The program has been airing on every Saturday at 5:00 p.m. since April. Lee Young Ja, MC for the show, started appearing on the show, but their audience rating hasn’t improved.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon makes his pet dog popular


Big Bang’s G-Dragon recently ranked first with his pet dog Gaho.
The October 24 episode of MBC Every1′s Week Idol released the ranking on the idol stars’ pet dogs, who are as popular as their owners.
Since idol stars cast their votes for the ranking, the show found that more idols have cute pet dogs than they thought.
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk has Choco and each member of JYJ also has a pet dog too. SHINee’s Jong Hyun was also in the ranking with his pet dog.
However, G-Dragon’s Gaho ranked first. Gaho previously appeared on TV, red carpet, and concert stage with G-Dragon and drew a lot of attention. Gaho is already like a popular star among idols.
Many stars, including, Infinite’s Hoya and Secret’s Hyo Seong, who cast votes for Gaho, said, “Gaho is already popular as a cute dog.”

Will MBLAQ’s Mir appear in Law of the Jungle 2?



Mir of MBLAQ (composed of Seung Ho, G.O, Lee Joon, Chun Dung, and Mir) is to join Byung Man Tribe as a new member.
On October 22, J.Tune Camp which manages the group told to Starnews in a phone interview, “Mir was cast to appear in SBS’s Law of the Jungle 2 and is revising over it in a positive manner. Nothing has decided yet, but we’re rearranging some schedules.”
So far, Law of the Jungle 2 has traveled through Namibia, Papua, Vanuatu, Siberia Tundra, and Madagascar, and it is planning to visit South America for the upcoming season. The production crew has already been on a field investigation and is currently casting members for the show.
Since Ricky Kim and Ryu Dam cannot join the trip because of other schedules, Choo Sung Hoon and Park Jung Chul who had appeared in the show before were offered to join the crew f again, now for South America. They are also considering their participation.
As soon as the empty spots are filled, they will leave Korea at the beginning of November. The special feature for South America will air in a new time slot, at 10:00 p.m. every Friday.
