Super Junior’s Leeteuk says, “I apologized to Kim Yuna”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk talked about things that happened between him and figure skater Kim Yuna for the first time.
On the episode of SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang that aired on November 6, Leeteuk said, “Something funny happened between me and Kim Yuna a few years ago. I think I can talk about it now.”
Leeteuk went on saying, “I shot a commercial for a school uniform brand with Kim Yuna a few years ago. I saw Yesung becoming friends with her on a social networking site, so I also sent a friend request to her. I became friends with her, and a few days later, I had a chance to tell a secret of myself on a cable channel. I wanted to say that I became friends with Kim Yuna, but Yesung said it might give a hard time to her if I say it, so I just said that I sent a friend request to Kim Yuna, but she didn’t accept it.”
However, what he said on the cable channel entered the headlines, and over 500,000 people visited Kim’s personal website on the day the article was published.
Leeteuk said, “I apologized to Kim Yuna after that. Fortunately, she accepted my apology and said she was also sorry.”
On the episode, Lee Jung Hyun, TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin, Lee Gi Chan, Super Junior’s Yesung, SHINee’s Jonghyun and Taemin, Mighty Mouth’s Sang Choo, and Park Min Ji also appeared as guests.
