Check out some of the behind-the-scenes pictures from KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama series School 2013 (written by Lee Hyun Joo and Ko Jung Won, directed by Lee Min Hong and Lee Eung Bok). In the pictures, each student actor looks towards the camera with a bright smile and makes the V sign, turning on the charming energy of youth.
In particular, Lee Jong Seok (who plays Ko Nam Soon) and Kwak Jung Wook (who plays Oh Jung Ho) have their arms around each other’s shoulders in contrast to their relationship as rivals in the series. Ryu Hyo Young (who plays Lee Kang Joo) appears in a cute tracksuit while Park Se Young (who plays Song Ha Kyung) shows off her beauty just outside the range of the camera. All the cast members manage to carry off the student look perfectly.
Most of the action in the series is set in a school, and the student actors spend most of their time together in the classroom and get along with each other. They have formed strong friendships as they shoot the series together and show great teamwork.
A representative of School 2013 says, “With so many young actors on the set, the atmosphere is always cheerful, and I believe there will be a great synergy effect. We’ll be able to deliver the noisiness and reality of a school vividly into your living rooms,” showing high expectations for the series.
School 2013 claims to be “the real story of school, hidden by students from adults.” The first episode will air on December 3 at 10:00 p.m.
