On January 29, a representative of BH Entertainment that manages the actor said, “On the 28th, Ko Soo had a baby boy. It was in the middle of shooting a movie when he heard the news and ran to the hospital at once and saw his son getting born.”
Ko Soo’s wife, Kim Hye Yeon, gave birth to a son at Asan Hospital in Seoul on the 28th. Their son was born six weeks in advance from the expected date, but both the mother and the baby are in good condition. The news of the arrival of his son brought Ko Soo to the hospital at once despite he was in the middle of the shooting. When he checked on his family and saw they were all in good condition, he returned to the set.
The actor was introduced to his current wife by an acquaintance and married her in February, 2012 after four years of dating.
Currently, Ko is shooting the movie The Way Home. It is about a housewife getting falsely accused for delivering drugs and imprisoned in France. Bang Eun Jin directs the movie and the national actress Jeon Do Yeon appears as the wife of Ko Soo’s character in the film.
