In January 14’s airing for MBC’s daily TV series Oh Ja Ryong is Coming (written by Kim Sa Kyung, directed by Choi Won Seok and Lee Jae Jin), Na Gongju (played by Oh Yeon Seo) says that she was only joking when she told Oh Ja Ryong (played by Lee Jang Woo) that she liked him. The scene takes place when Oh visits Na’s place because he’s worried about her absence from work after having confessed her feelings for him the previous night. Pretending that nothing had happened, Na bluntly asks him, “What do you want to say?”
Oh tells her, “I had no idea that you really liked me, but as I look back, I think I’ve done some things that may have caused you to get the wrong idea. You’re like a younger sister to me, so I just wanted to look after you.”
On hearing that, Na hides her true feelings and shoots back, “Did you really think I meant it when I said I liked you? I was just kidding. I think I may have gone a little bit too far, but come on, it’s not like we don’t joke around.”
But then she tears up in front of him and tells him that she’s going to quit, which makes viewers more curious about how the story will develop.
