On January 15 (local time), Psy and SNSD were listed on Fuse’s 44 Most Anticipated Albums of 2013, selected by the American music cable channel FUSE TV. They’re the only Korean artists listed on it.
FUSE selected Psy’s new worldwide album, which will be released in February or March and the English version of SNSD’s fourth album, I Got a Boy, as the most anticipated albums of 2013.
Regarding Psy, FUSE says, “Psy said he would include some sports gestures in the choreography of his new song. He also said he would like to make the new album by himself without any collaboration. Would he be able to succeed again with the new album?”
Regarding SNSD, the channel says, “When K-pop group SNSD released the first international single, The Boys, they became good friends of Kelly Ripa’s. They haven’t decided the exact date, the lead track, and tracks to be included in the new album, but they’re currently discussing about an English version of their latest album with Interscope Records. Most people will may react to it like David Letterman did. It seemed like he was unable to control himself when he was with the nine members of the group.”
Besides Psy and SNSD, such artists as Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and Jay-Z were listed.
