The girl group Rania is soon to make debut appearance in America.
On October 26, DR Music which manages the group reported, “We’ve recently signed distribution agreement with Empire Records of America’s Universal Records and management contract with Fireworks, a competent agency.”
Empire Records is well-known as the biggest hip-hop and R&B record label in Western part of the United States. In addition, Fireworks which is now in charge of managing Rania is a popular agency whose CEO Mike Williams is the current marketing director of Chris Brown, the Grammy Awards winner in the field of R&B in February.
When the contracts were signed, lawyer Brett Lewis of the Empire Records said, “The ‘Gangnam Style’ Korean girls are soon to hit the American market. We’re very happy to see the K-pop girl group rise as a worldly-renowned group that will travel around the world, setting its foothold in America first.”
Lewis revealed his expectations as he continued, “Now, it’s the time for Korean singers with new sound enter America.”
