The Wonder Girls performed with other world-renowned singers at a concert held in celebration of the UN Day.
On October 26, JYP Entertainment, the agency of the Wonder Girls, reported that the Wonder Girls were invited to the 2012 UN Day Concert – Message of Peace, a concert held on October 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the UN Headquarters in New York, the U.S. in celebration of the 67th anniversary of the foundation of the UN.
Besides the Wonder Girls, such world-renowned singers as Stevie Wonder, Sting, Paul Simon, and Akon, who participated in “Like Money,” a single of the Wonder Girls released in the U.S.
The Wonder Girls performed “What The World Needs Now Is Love” with Stevie Wonder.
Yubin said, “I’m so honored to perform at this meaningful concert. I’ll try to send the message of peace to the world with Stevie Wonder.”
The 2012 UN Day Concert – Message of Peace was a concert that commemorated the UN’s contribution to refugees and handicapped people in the world.
