FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki makes an unreserved apology for faking having a best friend

FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki recently made an unreserved, nationwide apology for his fake best friend.
On the episode of SBS’s Strong Heart that aired on October 16, former Unexpected You star Oh Yeon Seo, (currently getting more famous as an onscreen wife of MBLAQ’s Lee Joon in We Got Married), miss A’s Suzy and Fei, pianist Yi Ruma, FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki, and others appeared and provided some lively entertainment.
The FT Island heartthrob opened up: “Once I appeared on a show titled Stars’ Best Friend. But I didn’t have any best friend among celebrities. I asked around about someone who could appear on the show as my best friend. I wound up asking Yoon Shi Yoon to do me that favor. He is a friend of a friend of a friend of mine.”
Lee added, “I’ve never gotten in touch with him since then. Once I saw him at an awards ceremony, and I greeted my ‘best friend’ feeling very awkward.”
However, the singer suggested TV star Yoon Shi Yoon make friends with him, and apologized to everyone, saying, “Actually, I barely knew him. I deeply apologize.”
