Yoon Eun Hye becomes a special judge of the 2012 AISFF



Actress Yoon Eun Hye recently gave her thoughts on becoming a special judge of the 2012 AISFF.
On October 16, Yoon spoke of her aspiration as a special judge of the tenth Asiana International Short Film Festival.
She was recently selected as a special judge of the 2012 AISFF along with director and actor Choi Byung Hwa. She was also invited to the 17th Busan International Film Festival for her directorial debut, Knitting.
Yoon said, “It might not be appropriate for me as an actress to evaluate films, but I’ll be able to see things more accurately and grasp emotive parts of the films better than other judges because I’m an actress. I think it will be hard, but I heard the films are very good, so I believe it will be fun.”
Yoon also said, “Because I directed a short film this year, I know how important the roles that actors play are in the making of films. I think I’ll be able to see the directors’ intentions and thoughts and how well and naturally they’re delivered to the audience. I feel very burdened to evaluate the films because I think I should focus on my acting career more, but I’ll do my best.”
The tenth Asiana International Short Film Festival will be held from November 1 to 6 at the Cine Cube. A total of 82 short films from 32 countries will be shown.

FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki takes a picture while shooting a movie



FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki recently took a self portrait with actor Ma Dong Seok.
On October 16, Lee tweeted a picture with the comment, “With cool Dong Seok! We are also shooting the movie today.”
In the picture, Lee is intimately posing with Ma while leaning his face on Ma’s shoulder. Lee has a cute look on his face but Ma has a serious look on his face. Many people are paying attention to the picture because the two actors look like a father and a son.

B.A.P become warriors with blond hair



All B.A.P members dyed their hair blond.
Before releasing their third single on October 23, B.A.P release a new photo for the single jacket. Having already released the teaser photos of the members hiding most of their faces, B.A.P released photos of themselves dressed like warriors with blond hair.
B.A.P members are dressed in black denim shirts with gold chains around and wearing blond hair. Bang Yong Guk especially looks manly with both sides of his head shaved and exposing his nice abs.
Daehyun and Himchan are also showing off their handsome looks with their sharp noses and chin lines. Jongup is showing off a charismatic look in a hooded sleeveless shirt and a hat. Youngjae shows off his charismatic eyes and Zelo shows off his distinctive hairstyle.
B.A.P will release a total of two songs, including “Don’t Do It,” online. On October 27, their fan club will hold its inauguration ceremony, and B.A.P will hold a small concert, 1st Baby Day, for their fans.

Fans of TVXQ claim pearl red shouldn’t be used for items for Psy


A heated controversy over the color for Psy is going on.
On October 20, a posting, titled “We should ask fans of Psy a public apology,“ appeared on a community website and is causing a sensation.
This is because K-pop fans make use of colors in order to represent their own idol stars. According to K-pop lovers, each K-pop act has its own color, distinguished from others.
The post writes: “The color of the light stick for Psy―pearl red―has been in use for TVXQ. We have been using the color for 9 years now. Don’t try to take away ours.”
With this, fans of TVXQ are requesting that pearl color items for Psy should be banned and fans of Psy should make a public apology.
Meanwhile, netizens showed conflicting opinions about the color controversy.

On the episode of SBS’s Inkigayo that aired on October 21, GD performed “Crayon” on an outdoor stage set up at Hongdae area.
GD was dressed like a scamp in vivid outfits. Apart from the outfits, the lightings and the sound effect were overwhelming. A legion of fans gathered to see the star and enjoyed the jaw-dropping performance in a frenzy.
GD’s latest material “Crayon,” short for Crazy and On, is a newly-coined word that implies that GD is crazy on (about) something.

T-ara’s Hyomin recently talked about the hard time she went through after Hwayoung left the group.

Kim Hyun Joong shows off a sexy, mature look in photos for his new album jacket


Kim Hyun Joong recently released main photos for his new album jacket.
On October 22, Kim released some of the photos for his new album jacket. He will release the first album, Unlimited, in Japan on December 12. It’s his second material to be released in Japan after the single “Heat.”
In one the photos, Kim looks more mature with a guitar in his hands. The fancy tattoos on his body make him look carefree and wild.
The concept of the songs in the album are ungraded from the rock band concept of “Heat,” released in Japan this summer. It contains a total of 14 songs, including such new songs as “Your Story,” “Save Today,” and “I’m Yours” and some of the songs that previously became a hit.
Kim’s second single, “Heat,” released in Japan in July, topped the Oricon Daily and Weekly Charts and sold over 200,000 copies in only two months. Kim also ranked the highest among all Korean singers on the Oricon Yearly Single Chart.
A spokesperson for Kim in Japan says, “All two singles of Kim, released this year, topped the Oricon Chart and other online charts. Not only to the Korean singers who have released albums in Japan but also to many popular Japanese singers, Kim is strongly competitive.”
Kim is currently shooting a drama series, City Conquest, which is scheduled to air on KBS 2TV in 2013, and working on the new album.

Lee Min Ho thinks back on his life as a warrior on Faith



The life of Choi Young (played by Lee Min Ho) as a warrior in SBS TV’s drama series Faith is currently touching viewers.
In the 20th episode of the series, which aired on October 16, Choi Young has a drink with Ahn Jae (played by Kim Tae Han) and is asked by him, “Has your sword become heavier?” At the question, he measures the weight of his sword and thinks about his life as a warrior, who has killed so many people since he was sixteen years old.
Choi Young is a warrior with a great sense of loyalty and responsibility.
After watching the death of his first love Mae Hee (played by Kim Hyo Sun) and his boss Moon Chi Hoo (played by Choi Min Soo), Choi Young has lived a life without any will to live. He is also honest enough to say, “I don’t think I’m loyal to Goryeo,” to the king.
However, as he gets close to King Gong Min (played by Ryu Duk Hwan) and falls in love with Eun Soo (played by Kim Hee Sun), he changes, starts to feel real loyalty, faith, and love.
Viewers are wondering how Choi Young will live his life as a warrior as a reliable assistant to King Gong Min and as a man who loves Eun Soo.

Asia fan meeting tour with JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong has begun!



JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong has begun with his fan meeting tour which is to be held in four different countries in Asia.
On October 20, the singer started off the tour in Nanjing, China. As soon as he arrived at the airport, thousands of his fans welcomed him with loud cheers.
In prior to the fan meeting, Kim stood before the local press media at a press conference in the Hilton Hotel. There seemed to be growing interest in the movie Code Name: Jackal which is to open next month in Korea.
The fan meeting was then held at the Olympic Gymnasium in Nanjing with the presence of 5,000 fans. When one of the soundtracks for the TV series Dr. Jin played in the background, the spectators began to go wild.
Kim opened the event with as he greeted in Chinese, “Have you guy had a meal?” Throughout the meeting, he shared various anecdotes and maintained a lively atmosphere.
As he wrapped up the tour in Nanjing, he said, “Today, I’m very happy to have a meaningful hour with my fans after a long time. Thank you for always being there for me. I’ll work harder. Hopefully see you again in a short time.”
The fan meeting tour with Kim Jae Joong will continue in Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam on October 23rd, November 3, and November 10.

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In posts unveiled part of her teaser “Tinkerbell”


Ga In of Brown Eyed Girls (composed of Jea, Narsha, Ga In, and Miryo) who currently performs as a soloist revealed unedited version of her latest teaser for her fans.
On October 21 at 10:00 a.m., the video was uploaded on the official channel of Loen Tree Entertainment on YouTube.
This three-minute-video is composed of some scenes in which Ga In prepares for a shooting and some other scenes that were cut out from the teaser.

Recently, Big Bang’s G-Dragon appears puzzled towards Tablo.
On October 21, G-Dragon tweeted, “Hyung, why do I appear as a villain here?” and attached a photo of Tablo taken with cute little boys dressed up as villains. Tablo tweeted him back, “I wonder too, Ji Yong. Why are you sitting next to me?” and inspired laughter from the netizens.
G-Dragon seemed to have made a cute grumble at Tablo about a little boy’s appearance as a villain in Epik High’s “Don’t Hate Me” music video on behalf of him.
In Epik High’s new music video which was released on October 19, little kids parodied villains from popular films and other interesting characters.

Big Bang sell the most concert tickets in Taiwan


Big Bang have sold the most concert tickets among all Korean singers in Taiwan.
On October 22, YG Entertainment reported that Big Bang got a total audience of 20,000 excited at their concerts, part of Alive Galaxy Tour 2012, which were held in Taipei, Taiwan, on October 20 and 21.
Not only tickets for all their concerts in Taiwan were sold out, but also the profits from the concerts reached 118,550,000 yuan (based on Taiwanese dollar), which is the highest sales in Taiwan.
Such popular Taiwanese singers as Vivian Hsu, F4′s Van Ness Wu, Fu Xin Bo, and JJ Lin also attended the concerts.
Big Bang performed a total of 25 songs, including “Lies,” “Haru Haru,” “Blue,” and “Fantastic Baby.”
Arriving in Taiwan on October 19, Big Bang left Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport through another door, specially prepared by the airport, because of too many reporters and fans. Including NEXT TV, several daily newspapers covered Big Bang’s arrival at the airport.
This is the second time for Big Bang to visit Taiwan. Big Bang held a press interview in April in celebration of reaching double-platinum status, selling over 20,000 copies of Alive. They received a lot of attention from Taiwanese people and major news sources at that time.
Big Bang will continue their world tour in the Philippines, Malaysia, the U.S., Peru, Hong Kong, and Japan.
