PSY Sets Dress Code for Concert: White!

Popular artist PSY is known for being wild and outrageous, but after seeing his latest press release, even his more dedicated fans are laughing in disbelief.

In pictures released by the management at YG Entertainment and later tweeted by PSY himself, he is seen posing in various wacky, white costumes. Perhaps the most entertaining of all the pictures is the one of PSY in a fluffy dress, a fur coat, elbow length gloves and a tiara. Another release shows PSY in various white looks ranging from a bridal gown to a tennis outfit.

The reason for all the white? PSY has set a dress code for his upcoming April 13th concert “Happening” at the World Cup Stadium in Seoul. He is asking his entire audience to come dressed in white for the concert.

This isn’t the first time that PSY has made an unusual request concerning his audience’s clothes. Back in 2012, he set the dress code to blue as a symbol of cool, refreshing water.

The April 13th concert will mark the release of a new song by PSY. Due to the overwhelming success of “Gangnam Style” on youtube, PSY enjoyed a huge rise in fame and became a hit with millions of fans around the world. He is hoping his newest song will be just as popular and prove him to be more than a one-hit wonder with international audiences.

Infinite sweeps music sales, taking first to sixth places

According to an announcement made by their agency on March 28, Infinite’s new album, New Challenge, ranked top on the Hanteo Album Chart the day after its release and swept ranks one to six on the real-time music chart. The earlier solo album, Another Me, by the group leader, Kim Sung Gyu, and the album Fly High of Infinite H, a sub-group of Infinite, also ranked on the list.
An agency official said all the group’s albums ranked in the top 20 on the Hanteo Chart on March 26. Their earlier albums are also selling again because of the boosting effect of the new album release. It is good news for the company and will increase revenues, but if more than one album by the same singer compete with each other, there can be a negative effect on sales figures that broadcasting stations use to rank albums, because they base their rankings not on the sales of albums by group but on how high individual songs on an album ranked.
