Kara sold the biggest number of albums in Japan

Recently, Kara beat SNSD and became known as the group having sold the biggest number of DVD in Japan as a foreign singer.
On November 21, the record magazine Oristar reported that the sales of Kara’s Live DVD titled “Kara 1st Japan Tour 2012 Karasia” which was released on November 14 exceeded 30,000 copies in just one week. It is now ranking at the top of the DVD sales chart on the November 27 Oricon weekly.
It also reported, “SNSD and Kara each won the top ranking on the DVD sales chart twice, but this time, Kara beat SNSD. Kara is now staying at the top exclusively, as a foreign female artist.”
In February of 2011 and 2012, Kara released “Kara Best Clips” and “Kara Best Clips 2 & Shows” and both DVDs ranked at the top of DVD sales chart in Oricon weekly.
According to Oristar, the blue ray version of Kara’s Live DVD which was released on the same day as the original one sold over 14,000 copies in just a week since the release. It got second ranking on the overall blue ray sales chart on Oricon weekly and the first on music blue ray chart.
Kara’s another album Girls Forever which was released on November 14 also ranked second in the Oricon weekly which will be issued on November 26.

Girl’s Day cries their eyes out during a shooting: What happened?

Girl’s Day has shown tears after realizing that people set up a surprise camera for them.
In the episode of M.net’s Beatles Code 2 that aired on November 19, the group appeared as guest with singer Hong Seo Bum.
The member You Ra was given a task to rank the emcees and Hong Seo Bum according to her ideal type. She selected Hong least likely to be her ideal type, and as a result, he had to wear a hat shaped in poo.
The emcees kept on asking her if she would not change her mind, and Hong burst into sudden anger and told them to stop. He said, “Why do you guys keep asking stupid questions like that? Let’s just sing a song and get it over with. You guys keep asking weird questions like that.”
Then he turned to Yoo Ra and said, “You should be ashamed of what you’ve said and should’ve known how to make things look good. My kids are watching the show! When I told them that I was shooting for Beatles Code they encouraged me saying ‘Go daddy!’ But your words just made me look bad in front of them.”
Then Hong stomped out of the studio saying that he could not take it anymore. The atmosphere went down and the emcees began to persuade him to sing a song and finish the shooting.
As he came back to his seat, Yoo Ra apologized but Hong replied back harshly, “You don’t look sorry at all. People don’t smile like that if they really feel sorry about something,” and did not accept her apology, making the situation even worse.
However, the whole story was planned in advance by the emcees and Hong and it was a surprise camera set up for Girl’s Day. As Hong sang a song, he changed the lyrics and said, “Don’t cry Yoo Ra. Welcome to the surprise camera of Beatles Code.” It was right then when Girl’s Day realized the whole thing and began to cry their eyes out in relief.
