ZE:A’s quintet unit group ZE:A-5 will issue its first EP on March 25



ZE:A-Five, which focuses on vocals, is about to make its first appearance. The members of the quintet are Siwan, Kim Dong Jun, Ha Min Woo, Park Hyeong Shick, and Kebin. Star Empire Entertainment, ZE:A’s agency, has revealed the unit group’s schedule of official activities and a track list of the new EP titled Voulez-vous, which is to be released on the 25th of March. The online edition of the EP contains five songs: the title track, “The Day of Breaking Up,” “Beautiful Lady,” “FiancĂ©,” and “Mistake,” but offline an edition containing one extra song, “Change Up,” will be issued.

Star Empire reported that ZE:A-Five’s will be softer an more emotional than those of ZE:A’s previous powerful performances. Recently, each member of ZE:A has been doing individual gigs: Park Hyeong Shick has appeared on tvN’s “Nine” and Siwan played lead in the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Shinee has reached third place on the Oricon Chart


A new Japanese single by the Korean idol group Shinee reached third place on the Oricon Chart on the same day it was released, according to a March 14 Oricon report. This shows just how popular Shinee still remains with Japanese fans.
On the 8th of March, Shinee’s “Dream Girl,” the lead track from the group’s third album, won the top spot on Music Bank, KBS 2TV’s “hit parade” program, so the news from Japan doubles the group’s good fortune.

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong meets 510,000 fans from 32 countries on live chat


Kim Jae Joong, a member of the Korean idol group JYJ, recently chatted live online with 510,000 fans from 32 countries. The chat session was broadcast by Naver, Korea’s largest Internet portal. According to his agency, Cjes Entertainment, Kim visited the Naver headquarters at 8:00 p.m. on March 12. He answered questions from fans and told several anecdotes about things that had happened on his world tour.
Fans from Asian countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and Thailand, as well as from European countries such as Turkey and Spain took part in the online meeting, pumping out more than 50,000 comments during the session. The participants were also allowed to draw things symbolic of their home country on a photograph of Kim.
