SECRET Live in Singapore this March!

TS Entertainment’s girl group SECRET will be staging their first ever full scale concert in Singapore this 29 March! After a successful fan-meeting last year (tagged and guested by labelmates B.A.P), SECRET is back for another round of showtime.
Presented by local organizer Fast Track Events Pte Ltd, fans would be pleased to know that SECRET will be in town a week earlier for a fan-meet as well as exclusive autograph session.
The four-member group consisting of Leader Hyosung, Zinger, Jieun and Sunhwa, debuted with ‘I Want You Back’ in 2009 and have gone as far as venturing into the Japan market with debut remake single ‘Madonna’ in August 2011. They have thus went on a promotional tour in Japan last March, making huge waves. SECRET became one of the three Korean girl groups to be on the top 10 of the Oricon weekly chart and have been featured as one of the groups for the recent Golden Disk Award held in Kuala Lumpur with their latest track ‘Talk That’.
It will be a one-night only full-fledged concert by the ladies of SECRET. Korea.com will also be giving away 2 pairs of concert tickets, courtesy of organizer Fast Track Events. Stay tuned for our full coverage on the event!

B1A4 Arrives In Jakarta, Cheerfully Greets the Press

Korea.com welcomes B1A4, the unique, fun and fresh K-pop boy group to finally reach out to Indonesian fans for the first time after a long run of Japan live event schedules. Members Jinyoung, Baro, CNU, Sandeul and Gongchan arrived the day earlier on March 10 and explored a little of Jakarta’s metropolitan scape.
Promptly arriving at the conference stage, they immediately lighten up the mood with their excited group greet and showing off their Indonesian language skills that impressed the press floor.
“Apa kabar, saya golongan darah B, Baro, rapper!” (Hello, I’m the B blood type member, Baro, rap position!). It was followed with the other members saying “apa kabar!” While the youngest added, “saya yang paling muda, Gongchan,” (I’m the youngest, Gongchan.) with a bright smile.Their arrival and event makes it even more special – not visiting the neighboring countries like Malaysia or Singapore, they came straight to Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta where Banas has been patiently waiting and gave a big cheer, to which all the members remembered and felt so thankful.
What is the main reason for their decision to come? “Because of the request of fans and audience, and through SNS our fans from Indonesia has been so supportive even though we are so far,” explained CNU.We are always thankful of the wishes, they make us feel special, and this is why this time we want our Bana Indonesia feel special with our show!”
Ms. Ratu from Big Daddy Entertainment as the organizer, added: “We are proud to be promoting them for the first time in the country. As their first ever showcase, we have seen the great interest and requests through their fans, and we saw the potential if we invited them here.”What can all audiences at their show today (12/3) expect?
“We have prepared state of the art audio technology and lighting equipment, that will fortify B1A4′s live performances that they have prepared from for a long while just for all Indonesian fans!”
Expect the great interactions and performance by the quintet with my live tweet and stay tuned for more B1A4 uniqueness (what is there most embarrassing moments on stage? What kind of activities the leader wants to do with fans?) in Korea.com, B1A4′s Baba Showcase in Jakarta’s official media partner.

Lee Hi has caught American and Japanese fans’ attention

As of 5:30 p.m. on March 11, Lee Hi ranked ninth on American iTunes R&B – Soul Chart and at the same time, seventh on Japanese Charts. Lee has been professionally active for only a short time and has not yet been officially promoted, so this is exceptional because new singers rarely reach the top ten on American and Japanese album charts.
On March 7, Lee released an EP titled First Love Part 1, which contains five songs: “It’s Over,” “Turn It Up,” “Special,” “Unrequited Love,” and “Dream.” “It’s Over” topped various Korean music charts as soon as it was released and still remains at the top of the charts.
Although the genre of retro-soul has been unpopular in Korea, Lee managed to gain popularity with the digital single “1, 2, 3, 4” in that style. “It’s Over” has jazz and swing elements and has received great attention from domestic and foreign fans.
Lee is going to release her first studio album, which will contain “Rose,” “Idiot,” “Because,” “I am odd,” and a new version of “1, 2, 3, 4″ on the 21th of March.

Lee Jung Shin shows off his room

CnBlue’s Lee Jung Shin posted a picture on the group’s official Twitter account on March 8 and tweeted: “This is Jung Shin. It’s perfect weather for a picnic, but I have a Japanese song to record, and in the process of practicing for it, I remembered that Young Hwa had posted a picture of his studio picture, so I decided to show you my room! I lead a hectic life. I should clean up my room, but I don’t where to start. Anyway, this is part of my room. I’m showing my private room, while Yong Hwa only showed off his studio. Have a nice day!”
In the picture, such items as caps, accessories, and cosmetic products have been arranged neatly, organized by type on the shelves.
People who saw the picture said: “Jung Shin’s room without jeongsin. [Editor's note: Jeongsin is the Korean word for 'mind' and is pronounced the same as the singer's name.] There is a pun here.” “It is enough. isn’t it?” “What a clean room!” “I want to clean up his room, but there is no need to.”
Lee Jung Shin appeared in the KBS 2TV drama series My Daughter, Seo Yeong as a problem child who is the younger brother of the character Kang Woo Jae.

FTIsland releases a teaser for its Japanese song “You Are My Life”

On the 11th of March, FTIsland’s agency announced: “‘You Are My Life” is a sweet ballad dedicated to a lover. On the 8th of March, we released a teaser for the song on our YouTube channel. In the teaser, the group is playing the song in a church during a wedding ceremony as the bride walks down the aisle.

The music video was shot in the old-world atmosphere of a church located in an out-of-the-way part of Tokyo. The set was decorated with rose petals, creating a romantic mood.

“You Are My Life” is FTIsland’s tenth Japanese single. It will go on sale on the 27th of March. The release will be preceded by an official Japanese fan meeting on the 17th.
