MBLAQ’s Lee Jun handwrites a note: “Happy New Year”



MBLAQ’s Lee Jun recently sent New Year’s greetings with a hand written note.
On February 10, Lee revealed his handwriting through his agency, J. Tune Camp, saying, “I wish you all the best and hope you are happy this year.”
Lee wrote the handwriting exactly even though it is short. He drew a lot of attention by leaving his name as Oh Young, which is his character in the movie Actor Is Actor.
People who saw his handwriting responded: “Even his handwriting is charismatic.” “It’s short but I can feel his sincerity.” “I can’t wait to see the movie.”
Lee is keeping himself busy shooting a TV series, movies, and variety shows. KBS’s series Iris 2 and the movie  Actor Is Actor will be released soon.

4minute’s Hyun Ah acts cutesy on Running Man

4minute’s Hyun Ah recently captured Lee Kwang Soo by acting cutesy.
On the February 10 episode of SBS’s Running Man, Hyun Ah acted cutesy and sexy while accomplishing a mission to make Lee stay with her.
The show was about spies infiltrating and Hyun Ah told Lee not to go. Even though Lee had to go see the team members, he couldn’t take a single step and it made people laugh out loud.
Lee said, “Hyun Ah is not letting me go. I haven’t felt like this for a long time.” The team leader Hwang Jung Min smacked back of Lee’s head and made the entire crew laugh.
Besides Hyun Ah and Hwang, Park Sung Woong also appeared on the show and played the dual spy game.

Singer IU, ZE:A’s Hwang Kwang Hee, and actor Lee Hyun Woo recently sent New Year’s greetings.
The February 10 episode of SBS’s Inkigayo was a special episode for Lunar New Year’s Day.
The three stars appeared on the show in hanboks and sent the audience New Year’s greetings.
IU and Lee looked like a couple in the similar colored hanboks.
Many stars appeared on the show, including CNBLUE, SISTAR 19, Infinite H, DMTN, 2Yoon, Clazziquai, Nine Muses, Hello Venus, Baechigi, 4Men, December DK, Ali, Jang Hee Young, Phantom, My Name, Speed, VIXX, Glam, and Yang Ji Won.

Song Joong Ki jokes about Lee Kwang Soo



Actor Song Joong Ki recently showed off close friendship with Lee Kwang Soo.
On the February 9 episode of KBS’s Entertainment Relay, Song heard that Lee was selected as a star who will shine in 2013 and made people laugh by saying, “I don’t think that the result is reliable.”
Song also recalled the awards ceremony where he teased the uncrowned Lee. Song said, “I kept saying that Lee was uncrowned. I’m sorry if he felt bad.”
When Song heard that Lee chose Jo In Sung rather than him, he said, “When Jo and Lee call me at the same time, I’ll go to see Jo too. I guess we will all meet there.”
Song recently signed a contract with Blossom Entertainment, where actor Cha Tae Hyun works.

SNSD’s Jessica sends New Year’s greetings in a hanbok


SNSD’s Jessica recently sent New Year’s greetings.
On February 9, Jessica released pictures of herself wearing a hanbok on the SM Town website and with her New Year’s greetings.
She said, “Long time no see. We completed performing in Korea and started touring Japan today. We are having the Lunar New Year in Japan.”
“We wish you a happy New Year and hope you eat a lot of rice cake soup! Two bowls and three bowls! I want to eat rice cake soup.”
SNSD, who released their fourth EP in Korea on January 1, successfully completed performing the title song “I Got A Boy” and flew to Japan.
The group performed the song on the February 2 episode of MBC’s Show Music Core for the last time. They held an exclusive concert on February 9 in Kobe and will continue their arena tour in Japan.
SNSD will hold twenty concerts in total in seven Japanese cities until April 21. This is their second arena tour with over 10,000 people for each concert since in 2011.

CNBLUE becomes a man among men



CNBLUE has become even more manly.
On the February 10 episode of SBS’s Inkigayo, CNBLUE performed the song “Im’ Sorry.”
The song, which is written by Jung Yong Hwa, includes addictive melodies. The lyrics are about a man who when talking to his love, the last words she says to him are “I’m Sorry.” Electronic synthesizer and guitar sounds complement the powerful refined modern rock ballad.
CNBLUE also showed off their manly appeals with charismatic eyes while performing the song.
Besides CNBLUE, many singers, including, SISTAR 19, Infinite H, DMTN, 2Yoon, Clazziquai, Nine Muses, Hello Venus, Baechigi, 4Men, December DK, Ali, Jang Hee Young, Phantom, My Name, Speed, VIXX, Glam, and Yang Ji Won appeared on the show.

Actress Go So Young recently took a picture with Big Bang’s T.O.P.
On February 8, Go tweeted a picture with the comment, “Backstage at Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour The Final.”
In the picture, Go is posing for the camera with T.O.P and No Hee Young, who is well known as a jury member of O’live’s Master Chef Korea. The three look close to each other while smiling.

Yoon Si Yoon and Park Shin Hye recently took self portraits together.
Park recently tweeted pictures that she took in a taxi with Yoon, who appears on tvN’s Monday-Tuesday series Flower Boy Next Door with her.
In the pictures, the two stars are staring at the camera with lovely looks on their faces.
According to the production crew for the series, Yoon and Park look like a real couple on the set taking care of each other and playing jokes.
On the February 11 episode of the series, Yoon and Park will share their first kiss.

T-ara’s Hyomin goes to Japan for her Japanese movie Jinx


T-ara’s Hyomin will go to Japan today.
Even though today is the Lunar New Year’s Day, Hyomin will fly to Japan for her Japanese movie Jinx.
Hyomin was cast in the movie, and will play the lead role for the first time among Korean female singers. The movie is about popular Japanese director Naoto Kumazawa.
Hyomin will get on the plane on February 10 at 7:40 p.m. and will read her script with Japanese actors and staff members. She will return to Korea on February 11.
T-ara is also planning to hold a promotion in Japan at the end of the month. Hyomin will go back and forth to Japan and Korea to shoot the movie.
On February 9, T-ara, Speed, 5dolls, and The Seeya held a meaningful event and donated one hundred rice bags for the needy.

SHINee’s Min Ho releases teaser


A teaser for SHINee’s Min was recently released.
On February 10, SHINee’s agency, SM Entertainment, released a teaser for Min Ho on their SM Town Twitter, Facebook, and Weibo account. They have been releasing teasers for each members since February 7.
Min Ho, who has debuted as an actor, showed off his different look. His colorful clothes complemented the image of their title song “Dream Girl.”
SHINee will release new songs from their third EP through several online music sites including iTunes on February 19.

Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo shoot a TV series in the snow


A picture of Jo In Sung and Song Hye Kyo was recently released.
On February 10, a promotion company for SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday series That Winter The Wind Blows released a picture, which was taken on the set.
In the picture, the two actors and producer Kim Kyu Tae are intimately posing together for the camera. They are smiling in the snow and it drew a lot of attention.
The actors and staff members started shooting the series early in the morning in the snow. Even though it was hard and cold, the two actors and the staff cheered each other up and created a happy atmosphere on the set.
A spokesperson for the production company says, “Since it’s very cold and snowed a lot, everyone is working harder. The actors and staff are working in harmony and enjoying the shooting. Even though our body is cold, we feel warm inside our hearts. Everyone is doing their best so please support us.”
The series is a melodrama about the sincerity of human and values and love. Besides the two actors, Kim Beom, A pink’s Jung Eun Ji, Bae Jong Ok, and Kim Tae Woo will appear on the series, which will start airing on February 13 at 9:55 p.m.

MBLAQ bows in hanboks: “We’ll return in March”

Group MBLAQ recently announced their return in March.
On February 8, MBLAQ held the showcase ‘The BLAQ Fun-CH’ at the Zepp Diver City in Tokyo. It has been one year and five months since they released the song “Mona Lisa.”
Lee Jun said, “Sexy and cool MBLAQ will return. We want to become one during the performance. We will give you great performances.”
MBLAQ sang six songs in total, including “Oh Yeah” and the Japanese version of “Mona Lisa.” They held two showcases with over 5,000 fans, who have been waiting for them to come to Japan.
After the showcase, the group went to Sapporo on February 9 and attended ‘The 64th Sapporo Snow Festival K-pop Festival 2013.’ They will return to Korea on February 10.
MBLAQ went on their first Asia tour last year and kept busy abroad. They have visited Jakarta, Bangkok, Singapore, Japan, and Taipei.

ZE:A’s Kwang Hee invites his parents to his house on We Got Married

ZE:A’s Hwang Kwang Hee recently invited his parents to the MBC We Got Married house.
On the February 9 episode of the show, Hwang invited his parents to his house for the Lunar New Year’s Day and they cooked together.
On the show, Hwang’s mother appeared and yelled for the couple to, “Hurry up.”
Hwang and Han Seon Hwa ran to her and she said to her daughter-in-law Han, “I’m glad to see you in real life rather than on TV. You look pretty.”
Then she made the couple laugh out loud by saying, “She is like a doll in real life.” Park Mi Sun, MC for the show, said, “I guess Hwang learned to be funny from his mother.”
Hwang’s mother also made the audience laugh by making Han cook dinner.

B1A4′s Sandeul, Jinyoung, and Baro bow in hanboks



B1A4′s Sandeul, Jinyoung, and Baro recently bowed in hanboks on Music Core.
The three members appeared on MBC’s new year special show Show Music Core, which aired live, and said hello to the audience.
Sandeul wore a pink hanbok, Jiyoung wore a light purple hanbok, and Baro wore a sky blue hanbok to show off their cute appeals.
Jinyoung bowed and said, “B1A4 has become special MCs for the show.” Sandeul and Baro also bowed with him and drew a lot of attention.

IU releases a jacket photo for her new Japanese EP

IU, who will start performing in Japan in March, released new photos.
IU will release her Japanese EP on March 20. She previously released the Japanese version of “Good Day” and “You And I,” but this will be her first new, original Japanese song. She worked with the best producing team for her new EP.
In the jacket photo, IU is showing off her innocent and mature look. Elegant and light makeup complement her girlish emotions.
IU filled the new EP with new songs. Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, an American songwriting and record production team, who have enjoyed great success with various artists, most notably Janet Jackson, wrote two songs for IU.
IU also wrote a song by herself and showed off her talent as a singer-songwriter.
IU, who is also working for her Korean EP, was cast in KBS’s new weekend series The Best Lee Soon Shin. She will keep herself busy shooting the TV series and promoting her Japanese EP. Since it is her first original Japanese EP, many local people are paying attention to her.
She previously ranked eighth on the Oricon Single with “Good Day” last March. She also ranked high with the song “You And I.” Both songs are written by Lee Min Soo and Kim Yi Na.
IU has been planning her Japanese promotion since last April. Her second Japanese EP Last Fantasy ranked first on the Japanese iTunes and received a big response.
