Singer Lee Hi was recently spotted behind the stage before giving her debut performance.
In the episode of SBS’s Entertainment Weekly that aired on November 7, a reporter caught Lee Hi, the recently-debuted-rookie, behind the stage.
The singer’s debut performance took place on Inkigayo on the 4th, and during the interview she confessed, “I was so nervous that I could only get one hour of sleep last night.”
Park Ji Min, who debuted a month earlier encouraged her saying, “Originally, Lee Hi is not a nervous person. I don’t want her to panic but show everything she’s got on stage.”
After giving the performance, Lee said, “I feel regretful about my first performance, but I gave my best. I’ll try harder to become a better singer.”
Her music video “1,2,3,4” has been viewed over 4 million times in just a week since it was released on YouTube.

Running Man star Kim Kong Jong Huk says, “I lost my appetite at the news of Haha’s wedding”


Singer and Running Man star Kim Kong Guk recently revealed how shocked he was when he heard the news of the announcement of Haha and Byul’s wedding.
Kim Jong Guk had an interview on the first episode of Midnight Entertainment TV that aired on November 7. He fessed up how shocked he was when he learned the news that Haha would marry soon.
“It was so shocking that I lost my appetite for a while. I’d say I had terribly green with envy rather than felt betrayed,” the solo singer fessed up.
“Gwang Soo once told me ‘I wish you got married to my sister,’ but he never introduced me to her,” the 36 hilariously said.
The bachelor added: “My ideal type of woman would probably have a round face and big eyes.”

Secret’s Han Seon Hwa recently revealed that she had gotten in touch with ZE:A’s Gwang Hee in private.
On the episode of MBC’s Golden Fishery-Radio Star that aired on November 7, Seon Hwa appeared as a guest and talked about her onscreen hubby on MBC’s We Got Married, Gwang Hee.
The Secret cutie revealed, “I think Gwang Hee fancies me. He flirts with me sometimes, like sending me text messages off the camera. He once asked me what I wish to get for my birthday present, and I said, ‘Thanks but I don’t need a gift.’”

U-Kiss will hold an exclusive concert in the UK



Idol group U-Kiss will hold an exclusive concert in UK.
On November 7, the group’s agency, NH Media, said that the BBC News reported on the group holding their exclusive concert in Peru on November 2 (local time). After the news aired, the group is receiving many offers to hold more concerts.
A spokesperson for the agency said, “U-Kiss is currently arranging their schedule to hold an exclusive concert in Litch Field, UK.”
“Hallyu has been popular only in Asia so far but now it has spread all over the world through social network services like YouTube. Since U-Kiss members are good at speaking foreign languages and have over 100,000 fans abroad. The group will lead Hallyu in Asia, South America, and Europe.”
U-Kiss is planning to hold concerts in Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Columbia for the first time as a Korean singer early next year.

Hallyu star Kim Hyun Joong enters Madame Tussauds in Busan


Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong will be immortalized as a life sized wax figure.
The Madame Tussauds in Busan announced that they will display a wax figure of Kim, a beloved star in Korea, China, Hong Kong, and Japan, starting in December.
Since the museum selects renowned celebrities to immortalize as wax figures and display at thirteen museums in the world, entering the museum is a very honorable event.
Starting November 7 through 14, the museum will hold an event through their official Facebook and Twitter accounts asking people to guess what kind of pose he made for his wax figure. The museum will choose several people randomly on November 15 and send them invitations to Busan.
A spokesperson for the museum says, “Many Korean tourists visit Madame Tussauds in Busan. Since Kim is very popular in Korea and Asian countries, other branch museums in Asia are paying a lot of attention to his wax figure.”
The Madame Tussauds in Busan displays seventeen wax figures of world famous celebrities, including, Bae Yong Jun, Lady GaGa, Johnny Depp, SpiderMan,  Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Audrey Hepburn, and Jackie Chan.

Wonder Girls’ Yu Bin recently released a picture of herself, flaunting her mature look.
On November 7, Yu Bin tweeted a picture with the comment, “I wore lipstick that I received for my birthday from Hye Lim. How do I look?”

miss A’s Suzy recently talked about shooting her last episode of KBS’s variety show Invincible Youth 2.
On November 7, Suzy, who shot the last episode of the show, said, “I feel like I’m completing a TV series.”
“I saw an album of the show and it reminded me of the many things that I’ve done for the show. When I was on my way here, I realized that today is the last day.”
“I have lots of hard memories and good memories from the show. Since this will be the last episode that I’m shooting with the members, I feel sad.”
Suzy has been shooting the show for the past year with G5 members, including SNSD’s Hyoyeon, Jewelry’s Ye Won, KARA’s Kang Jiyoung, and SISTAR’s Bora.
Suzy said, “I will miss the members a lot. I’m happy that I got to know with the other members through the show. I think we will meet again through music programs and other variety shows. I feel like we are real sisters and I think we will keep in touch with each other for a long time.”
She added, “I was happy to make the audience laugh through the show not as a member of a girl group but as a person.”
The show started airing on November 12 of last year and it will go off air on November 17.

T-ara’s Dani is cast in a lead role in a new drama series


T-ara’s Dani has recently been cast in a lead role in the new drama series School 2013 even before debuting as a member of T-ara.
Dani will appear in KBS 2TV’s new drama series School 2013 as a lead role. A picture of her with Five Dolls’ Hyoyoung, another lead actress in the series, was recently released. In the picture, Hyoyoung and Dani are staring at the camera in school uniform.
Dani will make her acting debut in School 2013 before debuting as a singer. According to reports, she and Hyoyoung always support each other on the set of the series. Hyoyoung plays the role of a boyish girl named Lee Gang Joo, getting away from an innocent, cute image, and Dani plays the role of a student who is interested in beauty and fashion.
The series is directed by Lee Min Hong, who also directed School, Season one, and Lee Eung Bok, who also directed Dream High, and written by Lee Hyun Joo and Go Jung Won. It stars Jang Nara, Choi Daniel, Park Hae Mi, Lee Han Wi, Lee Jong Suk, Park Se Young, and Kim Woo Bin and will start airing on December 3.

KARA’s Kang Jiyoung accepted by Sungkyunkwan University



KARA’s Kang Jiyoung was accepted by Sungkyunkwan University.
According to a spokesperson for Kang on November 6, Kang was accepted to Sungkyunkwan University for Theatre through early admission in 2013. Kang took the college entrance exam last year but didn’t go to college.
f(x)’s Krystal was also accepted by the same university in the same department.
Kang has to decide whether or not she will enter the school after discussing her options with her parents. The spokesperson said, “She hasn’t made any decisions yet. She will make up her mind after talking to her parents.”
Dalshabet’s Soo Bin and Girl’s Day’s Hye Ri were previously accepted by the Film Department of Konkuk University.

Infinite visits Kim Sung Kyu to support him shooting a music video



Group Infinite recently visited Kim Sung Kyu to support him shooting a music video.
Infinite’s agency said, “Kim shot a music video in Gyeonggi-do for his solo music and his group members visited the set with a cake. Even though they are busy touring Japan, they gathered together to support Kim shooting his first solo music video.”
Infinite members appeared on the set with a cake and monitored Kim’s music video. They also encouraged the staff members, who are working in the cold weather.
Sung Jong tweeted, “Leader Kim released his song! The pre-released song is “Shine.” Enjoy listening the song.” Dong Woo tweeted, “Leader Kim, master of sentiment pre-released his solo “Shine.” I will spend winter with the song. I’ll be always next to you. Good luck!”
Kim also said, “My group members helped me a lot. I believe that there will be a good outcome since I’ve done my best.”
Kim’s solo EP Shine was released on November 7 and ranked high on several music charts.

Lee Min Ho encourages test takers: “Show what you can do”



Actor Lee Min Ho recently encouraged students who are taking the College Scholastic Ability Test.
On November 7, Lee tweeted, “The college entrance exam is tomorrow. I hope you all get the results of your efforts. Don’t be nervous and be careful not to catch a cold in the cold weather. I also hope that you can show what you can do on the test. I think you will have more important and funnier things in the future.”

The actor So Ji Sub has made a “rude” comment about his appearance.
In the episode of E Channel’s Courageous Talk Show—Special Press Conference which is scheduled to air on November 8 at 11:00 p.m., some behind-the-scenes stories of celebrities from reporters’ point of view will be covered.
A reporter appeared and shared a “secret” story about So Ji Sub. He said that unlike the actor’s charismatic appearance we often encounter in movies or TV series, he actually is a shy guy who behaves in rather humble manners.
He remembered asking him “What is the secret of such a great popularity you experience?” at the Busan International Film Festival last month.
At that time, So answered, “I don’t really know why people like me. It’s not like I’ve got the ‘looks.’ I look too normal to be an actor.”

Big Bang’s Seungri recently warned a foreigner, who looked down on kimchi.
Seungri appeared on the November 2 episode of Nagoya TV Jakiroba with people from Nigeria, France, Afghanistan, and Columbia  and talked about their favorite foods to eat with Japanese food ochazuke.
Seungri introduced kimchi and said, “Kimchi is really delicious. Red food invigorates your appetite.”
He drew a lot of attention by pronouncing kimchi with proper pronunciation when he asked other people, “Can you eat kimchi?”
A man from Nigeria looked down on kimchi and said, “Kimchi is just fermented cabbage.”
Seungri jokingly pretended that he was angry and said, “What did you say?”
However, when the man said that cheese is better than kimchi, Seungri warned him by saying, “Don’t look down on kimchi. Watch your mouth.”

On the episode of SBS’s One Night TV Entertainment that aired on the afternoon of November 7, the lead actors of Drama Emperors: Kim Myung Min, Jung Ryeo Won, Choi Siwon, Oh Ji Eun appeared at the Star Interview Corner.
Choi Siwon asked Jung, “You don’t exercise that much. What is the secret behind your body?” She answered, “I gained some weight lately.”
She said, “I’m sorry, but I usually don’t gain weight easily.” Kim Myung Min testified, “Jung Ryeo Won eats quite a lot. She picks up a lot of things to eat.”
In this broadcast, Oh Seo Eun pointed out Lee Sang Yoon as her ideal type but she was disappointed when she found out that he already has someone.

B1A4 to make a comeback this November!


BANAs are going into a frenzy when it was revealed that B1A4 will be making their comeback this 12th of November. They are currently active in Japan with their 1st Japanese full album and are also busy preparing for their upcoming concert in Seoul on December 8 and 9. From the official website of the group, the order in which individual teasers will be revealed starting with leader Jinyoung followed by Baro, Gongchan, CNU and finally Sandeul. So far, Jinyoung and Baro‘s teasers have been released. See screencap below!

From both teasers, we can see that the surroundings were a bit blurry giving off a dream like feel. Both Jinyoung and Baro seems to be enjoying the peaceful moment. Tune in for the other members’ teasers!

Song Joong Ki cheers for high school seniors

Actor Song Joong Ki recently sent a cheering message to high school seniors.
Song recently uploaded a video on his agency’s official me2day account and sent a cheering message to high school seniors who will take the college entrance exam on November 8.
In the video, Song says, “Hello, high school seniors. I’m Song Joong Ki. November 8 is coming soon, and you’ll take the college entrance exam. I hope you take the exam well. Looking back to the day I took the college entrance exam, I was very nervous and I still don’t know why. I think you will be fine if you breathe deeply and don’t get too nervous. I think it’s important not to get nervous too much. If you don’t get too nervous, you’ll get good scores. Don’t be too nervous, breathe deeply, and take the exam well.”
