Gong Hyo Jin and Ryu Seung Bum broke up and became friends again.
On August 15, a spokesperson for Gong and Ryu reported, “Gong Hyo Jin and Ryu Seung Bum broke up early in April this year.”
Gong and Ryu broke up as they couldn’t see each other often because of their hectic schedule. According to reports, they’re not dating anymore but still good friends.
Gong and Ryu started dating when they were working together for SBS TV’s drama series Beautiful Days in 2002. They broke up once in 2003, but there was a rumor that they started going out again when they were working together in the movie The Birth of a Family in 2006. They officially announced that they were dating again in 2008. Ever since then, there has constantly been a rumor that they will get married soon.
Ryu is almost finished with the shooting of the movie Berlin, and Gong is preparing for her next work.
