Lee Hong Ki becomes a new host of M Countdown

FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki will join Mnet’s M Countdown as a new host.
On August 27, Jung Yoo Jin, the producer of M Countdown, reported, “From August 30, FT Island’s Lee Hong Ki will join M Countdown as a new host. Lee Hong Ki not only has talent as a singer but also has great wit and sense of humor as a TV show host. He’s also good at speaking Japanese and popular in many overseas countries, so we thought he would be perfect for the global music chart show M Countdown as a new host.”
Lee has been acknowledged as a TV show host by hosting several TV music programs and awards. Because FT Island is popular as a global band in many countries, people from overseas countries will also be happy to see him as a new host of M Countdown.
M Countdown with Lee as a new host will start airing on Mnet and KM on August 30 at 6:00 p.m.
