The Wonder Girls successfully held a live show on iHeartRadio in the U.S. They were the first K-pop singing group to hold a live show on the radio station.
The live show was held in New York on September 5 for about an hour, and it aired live in the U.S. through 70 major radio stations’ online sites. The Wonder Girls have also been selected as the musician of September by iHeartRadio.
The live show, sponsored by iHeartRadio, was held by such top artists as Justin Bieber, Usher, Nas, Ne-Yo, Alanis Morissette, Carrie Underwood, and B.O.B.
The Wonder Girls performed, “The DJ is mine,” “Nu shoes,” “Like this,” “Be my baby,” “Tell me,” “So hot,” “Nobody,” “2different tears,” and “Like money.”
They also performed such unreleased songs as “Ouch,” “Stay Together,” and “Wake Up” for the first time and received an enthusiastic response from hundreds of fans who visited New York to see them.
The members also had a video chat with their fans on New York’s most popular radio station Z100.
JYP Entertainment says, “The Wonder Girls successfully held the live radio show and had a live chat with their fans. Please give the Wonder Girls your interest and support in the future as well.”
The Wonder Girls will go on a tour of Asia under the title of Wonder World Tour 2012. Starting in Singapore on September 8, they’ll make stops in Malaysia on October 13, in Indonesia on November 3, in China and Vietnam in November.
