Recently, Gyuri of the girl group Kara has given a reason why she is persistent in wearing the heels, her so-called “alter ego.”
In the episode of SBS’s Night of TV Entertainment that aired on September 5, Gyuri revealed why she prefers to wear high heels unlike the other members.
When asked, “Why are you persistent with the high heels?” the singer answered, “By the appearance, Han Seung Yeon looks small and she is actually small.”

Then she continued to defend herself, “If you just see me from the waist up, you’ll probably guess my height to be 170cm. I must wear the heels in order to live up to fans’ expectations.”
