IU will emcee a TV show and concert as expected.
On November 11, a spokesperson for IU said, “IU will emcee the ‘Love Share Concert’ and MBC’s Quiz Show Q as originally planned.”
The concert will be held on November 11 at Olympic Park in Seoul and it will air live on SBS instead of Inkigayo. Since IU is an MC for the music show, she will appear at the concert as an MC.
Then IU will record the quiz show in the afternoon.
She is drawing a lot of attention because she will make her official appearance for the first time after a controversial picture of herself and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk was released.
On November 10, a picture of IU intimately posing with Eunhyuk in pajamas was tweeted and surprised many fans. IU’s agency, Loen Entertainment, made an official announcement, “The picture was taken when IU was very sick last summer. Eunhyuk visited her and they took the picture on a couch.”
The agency added, “IU was tweeting early this morning and released the picture by mistake. IU feels very sorry about the confusion and apologizes to Eunhyuk for any trouble caused regarding the picture. Please stop blowing it out of proportion.”
