As of 10:00 a.m. on November 21, “Bad Person,” the lead track of her second EP, released on November 20, ranked first on such major charts as Melon, Bugs Music, Naver Music, and Soribada.
It ranked second on Olleh Music and forth on Mnet.
Juniel is also receiving the most number of votes for the Best New Female Artist Award of the 2012 Mnet Asian Music Awards, which is 41.6 percent of all votes.
These are outstanding achievements compared to those of other new female singers.
Lee Hi topped the charts for three consecutive weeks with her debut song, “1, 2, 3, 4.” She’s currently second on the Real-time Chart on Melon.
Ailee, who debuted in February this year, ranked seventh with her new song, “I Will Show You.”
Juniel will perform “Bad Person” for the first time on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on November 23.
