SNSD will release an album in the U.S. next year

SNSD will release an album in the U.S. next year.
Having already released an English version of the hit song, “The Boys,” last year, SNSD will release an album in English through Interscope Records, which represents Lady Gaga and Eminem, next year.
The Guardian in the UK also covered SNSD’s new album. On November 17 (local time), Observer from the Guardian reported, “When Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style’ leaves, K-pop Princess SNSD will come out.” It said SNSD has been very successful in some Asian countries including Korea and Japan and will soon release an album in English.
SNSD has never done any promotional activities in the U.S., but the maxi-single, The Boys, in which such world-renowned musicians as Snoop Lion featured, received a lot of attention abroad.
Because of the fact that SNSD has worked with the world-renowned producer Teddy Riley, who also produced Michael Jackson’s albums, SNSD’s new album is attracting even more attention.
SNSD will stay in Japan for a while. They’ll release the second album, Girls’ Generation Two: Girls and Peace, in Japan on November 28.
