What kind of relationship do Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and IU have?

Singer IU recently made rumors fly by releasing a self portrait that she took with Super Junior’s Eunhyuk.
On November 10, a picture of IU intimately posing with Eunhyuk was uploaded to a website, which is connected to IU’s Twitter account and surprised many fans.
People who saw the picture believe that IU was wearing pajamas as previously revealed through her Twitter account and are guessing that IU is in a special relationship with Eunhyuk.
Since IU recently appeared on a talk show and talked about a man, who she was close to having a romantic relationship with, many people spread various theories.
The picture was deleted after about an hour but it caused a lot of controversy.
The picture features IU and Eunhyuk and it was released accidentally while IU was playing on her Twitter account.
IU’s agency, Loen Entertainment made an official announcement on November 10 saying, “The picture was taken when IU was very sick last summer. Eunhyuk visited her and they took the picture on a couch.”
“IU was tweeting early this morning and released the picture by mistake. IU feels very sorry about the confusion and apologizes to Eunhyuk for any trouble caused regarding the picture.”
“IU and Eunhyuk have been close friends since her debut. Eunhyuk is so close to IU that he even spends time together with IU and her mother for an occasional meal.”
