Iris 2 makes premiere and wins praise from TV viewers

 A new KBS2’s Wednesday-Thursday series, IRIS 2, was finally unveiled on February 13. The first episode seems to have won over TV viewers.

The sequel of the IRIS, which was a big hit in 2009, revolves around NSS, a top secret agency, three years after Kim Hyun Joon (played by Lee Byung Hun) was assassinated. The new series, starring top actors and actress such as Jang Hyuk, Lee Dae Hye, Lee Bum Soo, and Oh Yeon Soo, has received a lot of attention even before the air of the first installment. 

Netizens who enjoyed the first episode responded: “I was on the edge of my seat during the whole episode.” “That reminds me of IRIS1.” “Spectacular!” “The plot seems to be a bit intricate, which makes me curious about the next.”
