CNBLUE, B1A4, and Infinite will invade Japan on August 29
Popular K-pop groups will invade Japan on the same day with their new EPs.
On August 11, according to the Oricon, CNBLUE will release their first Japanese regular EP Code Name Blue on August 29.
Leader Jung Yong Hwa wrote the lyrics and melodies for nine songs, including, “Intro 02,” “Time is Over,” “Have a Good Night,” “Wake Up,” and “Mr. KIA” from the EP.
The group will start a six city Japanese tour, including Nagoya, in October and hold nine concerts with over 100,000 local fans.
FNC Entertainment says, “CNBLUE will fly to Japan in August to promote themselves and will keep busy in Korea and Japan for a month.”
CNBLUE released their third Japanese single “Come On” and ranked fifth on Oricon by selling over 33,911 copies only in the first week of its release.
Group Infinite is also drawing a lot of attention in Japan. They will release their third Japanese single “She’s Back” on August 29.
Then they will go on the ’2012 Infinite Arena Tour’ in Japan. The first concert will be held on October 27 and 28 in Yokohama and over 60,000 people in total will come to Nagoya, Kobe, and Fukuoka to see the group.
Infinite previously released their first single “BTD” in November of last year and pre-sold over 70,000 copies. They also released their second Japanese single “Be Mine” and ranked second on the Oricon daily single chart.
Group B1A4, who debuted in Japan in June, will also invade Japan on the same day. They will release the Japanese version of their hit song “Sleep Well Good Night.”
B1A4 held an event on July 1 to celebrate the release of their debut song “Beautiful Target” and proved their popularity in Japan.
The group also held an event on June 30 in Tokyo and shook hands with over 35,000 fans.
