Actor Lee Joon Gi recently said, “I’m so happy that I get to shoot a TV series with the actors I saw on TV when I was in the Army.”
On August 10, Lee attended a press conference for MBC’s series Arang and the Magistrate with Shin Min Ah, Yeon Woo Jin, Park Joon Gyu, Yoo Seung Ho, Kwon Oh Joong, Hwang Bo Ra, and producer Kim Sang Ho.
When Lee was asked how he creates a happy atmosphere on the set, he replied, “Thank you for your favorable comment.”
Lee added, “Staff members started getting exhausted because I would talk too much. I’m so happy to shoot the series with the entire crew.”
“I’m excited about being on the set with the actors I saw on TV when I was in the Army. Every moment is so precious to me while shooting the series.”
“We are exhausted because of the hot weather but I’m glad that we are encouraging each other and we enjoy working together.”
Lee plays the role of a cold blooded handsome magistrate named Eun Oh.
The series is based on the Arang legend from South Gyeongsang Province. It is a fantasy romance about magistrate Eun Oh (played by Lee), who sees ghosts, and a female ghost named Arang (played by Shin), who lost her memory.
