Rainbow Rose, a drama series produced by joint production between Korea and Japan, which stars KARA’s Kang Ji Young, will air in Korea.
Two episodes of Rainbow Rose will air every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on Tooniverse from September 6. The series is about some foreign students studying in Korea and their friendship and love.
This series attracted a lot of attention when it aired in Japan in April. In addition, it attracted a lot of attention with the fact that it was produced by Korean production company Contents Seven. The company was involved in producing and shooting of the series.
At the news that KARA’s Kang Ji Young and Supernova’s Park Gun Il play the lead characters, many people from Korea and Japan paid attention to the series.
Kang plays the role of Yuri, a daughter of the share house and a student who dreams of becoming a fashion designer, and Park plays the role of Yuichi, a Japanese student who studies in Korea, majoring in business administration. Yuri and Yuichi have a disagreement with each other at first, but they gradually fall in love.
Julien Kang, who is currently appearing on MBC TV’s We Got Married, and Lee Sang Yeop, an actor who recently attracted a lot of attention by being cast in KBS 2TV’s Nice Guy, also appear in the series.
Rainbow Rose will air for six weeks in total, and the first and the second episode will air on September 6.
