Psy’s “Gangnam Style” Nominated for “Best Video” at MTV European Music Awards

Psy has just been as one of the participants in the “best video” category at the MTV Europe Music Awards for his viral video, “Gangnam Style!”
The rapper announced the news on his Twitter account last September 17 along with a screencap of the MTV’s site. Psy will be going against top acts, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, M.I.A and Katy Perry, for the best video award. “Gangnam Style” is the only non-English song in this category.

The 2012 MTV EMA will be held at the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany on November 11.  Psy continues to gain popularity for “Gangnam Style.” The track has taken the top spot on the US iTunes pop chart and the music video is the most viewed in all categories on YouTube.
