Psy’s “Gangnam Style” video will rank No. 2 in the world

A music video for Psy’s “Gangnam Style” will receive over 600 million hits soon.
The video has been showing off its power on YouTube since July 15. It has drawn over 500 million viewers by October 20 and it reached 586,044,886 hits on October 29 at 1:30 p.m.
Over 80 million hits were accumulated for eight days and it means over 10 million people watched the video per day. The video is expected to receive over 600 million hits in one or two days.
The video has become the third most watched video in the world. Music videos for Justin Bieber’s “Baby” ranked first and Jennifer Lopez’s “On The Floor” ranked second.
However, a rising trend for those two videos are not that high. For the last eight days, 2,721,782 people watched Justin Bieber’s “Baby” and 3,398,340 people watched Jennifer Lopez’s “On The Floor.” This makes a clear comparison with Psy’s “Gangnam Style.”
Psy is currently promoting his song in the United States with Scooter Braun.
