CN Blue’s Yong-hwa Withdraws From Role in “The Heirs”
Though it had only recently been announced that Jung Yong-hwa from CN Blue had been cast in the upcoming SBS series “The Heirs,” it has now been confirmed that Yong-hwa has been forced to withdraw from the role.
According to the latest report, Yong-hwa’s managers and the production team of the drama were unable to come to an agreement concerning the role of which Yong-hwa was to have played. Because of the issue, Yong-hwa has withdrawn from the role.
Fans were looking forward to seeing Jung Yong-hwa return to the screen after his last lead role in a drama 2 years ago. Despite their disappointment in this latest development, they continue to fully support Yong-hwa and look forward to the day when they will see him in a starring role again.
In the meantime, Yong-hwa continues to stay very busy with his music career and his role in the popular group CN Blue.
Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye have already been cast as the lead roles in “The Heirs.” The highly anticipated drama is set to be released later this year. With the withdrawal of Yong-hwa from the series, we must now wait to see who will be cast in his place.
