SNSD’s Sooyoung: “I’m not in charge of beauty or singing in the group”

SNSD’s Sooyoung recently talked about her role in the group.
On August 29, Sooyoung attended a press conference for tvN’s new Wednesday-Thursday series The Third Hospital. Jung Tae Won, president of the production company for the series, previously said that Sooyoung became a member of SNSD because of her beautiful appearance but Sooyoung said that is not true.
She said, “I’m not in charge of singing and I don’t think that I’m in charge of beauty in the group either.”
She also talked about singing a song for the series, “I wanted to have chance to sing a song for the series but there was not an offer to do a song.”
“Taeyeon is a vocalist in SNSD so I don’t think I’m in charge of singing. Since I started acting, I should improve myself as an actress in the future.”
“If you try too hard to do well in the series, it will not look good. I realized that I should not just try to do good when I first shot the series. I hope that you don’t expect too much from me and just enjoy the series comfortably.”
The series is a medical drama about a neurosurgeon named Kim Doo Hyun (played by Kim Seung Woo) and a genius Oriental medical doctor named Kim Seung Hyun (played by Oh Ji Ho).
The first episode will air on September 5 at 11:00 p.m.
