In the tenth episode of KBS 2TV’s drama series Nice Guy, which aired on October 11, Eun Gi meets Maru again a year after she disappears from a hospital, where she was taken to after getting into a car accident.
Eun Gi meets Maru again with her secretary Jung Hwa (played by Jin Kyung).
Jung Hwa says to Maru, “Eun Gi lost her memory and got some problems in reading and writing. Because she lacks in judgement and have bad memory, please help her bring back her memory. If Jae Hee (played by Park Si Yeon) finds out about Eun Gi’s condition, she cannot take over control of her company.”
However, Maru says to Eun Gi, “I’m not the one you’re looking for. I have nothing to do with you.” Getting hurt by the words of Maru, Eun Gi says, “Don’t lie to me. My heart remembers.” Being overwhelmed by her sadness, she even hurts herself, beating her head.
Jae Hee’s brother Jae Sik (played by Yang Ik Joon), who lives a life getting money from Jae Hee, who has become the president of Taesan Company, finds out about Eun Gi’s identity and kidnaps her in order to make a deal with Jae Hee.
Hearing the news, Maru goes to the rescue of Eun Gi and finally rescues her, using the location-tracking service of her cell phone.
However, Eun Gi feels nauseated, and Maru takes her to a hospital. Her doctor says, “The blood vessels in the the meninges burst, and there’s a pool of blood in her brain. I think it has been like this since she got a car accident.”
Nice Guy airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:55 p.m.
